    Chief Rock Engineer - Mokopane

    Job Description:
    Key tasks of the role are:

    • Develop/contribute to tactics and plans for mining successive cutbacks at increasing depth and complexity.
    • Draft Rock Engineering systems, policies, protocols and standards to satisfy Regulatory, AA Group Geotechnical Standard and mandatory Fall of Ground Critical Control requirements.

    Senior Structural Geologist

    Job Description:

    • To interpret and provide recommendations from integrated structural and tectonic data to De Beers Exploration to support decision making at various phases of exploration. To contribute to the continuous improvement of the application and integration of structural geology and tectonic interpretation in the Exploration environment.

    Functions of the role

    • Provide geological insights to support Exploration decision making and make recommendations.

    Job Description:

    • As Manager Project Servicesyou will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
    • Act as “First Point of Contact” for Kumba Projects’ Controls team and provide coordination with external and internal stakeholders.
    • Provide leadership and day-to-day technical direction to Project Controls Teams and Study/Project Managers, mainly focused on studies and projects.
    • Evaluate technical and resource requirements of Project Controls for the studies/projects.
    • Ensure implementation of AA Project Controls Standards and Guidelines.
