    Channel Manager

    Job Description

    • The Channel Manager responsible for managing and growing relationships with partners, resellers, and distributors that sell Altron HealthTech’s products or services. This role focuses on indirect sales through third-party channels rather than direct sales to customers.
    • Within Altron HealthTech, we have a network of Dealers and Bureaus who on-sell our offerings to the Healthcare industry and in some cases, provide first line support for our solutions. In addition, we have solution providers who have integrated our solutions into their offerings and offer the combined solution to the Healthcare market as Value Added Resellers.     Key accountabilities of the role:

    • Develop and implement a channel sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.

    Senior Tax Specialist

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • The Senior Tax Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing all domestic and international tax-related matters within the organization, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. 

    The role includes: 

    • Preparation, review, and submission of tax filings, management of tax audits and disputes.
    • Providing tax advice on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.
    • Provide tax advice on cross border transactions, including preparation, review and submission of CFC returns, preparation of transfer pricing documentation, preparation of withholding taxes and foreign tax credit schedules.
    • Other tax related areas, including capital gains tax, dividends tax, VAT, PAYE and Customs, while offering strategic input on tax planning and risk management.

    Income Tax

    • Manage the preparation, review and submission of tax packs, provisional tax returns (IRP6) and income tax returns (ITR14), e-filing tax payments and other related tax documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.

    Capital Gains Tax

    • Prepare detailed calculations on capital transactions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with CGT regulations.

    Legal Advisor

    JOB PURPOSE

    • To proactively manage and provide legal services in accordance with the relevant OPCO and Altron Group Legal mandates, including but not limited to contract and records management, privacy and regulatory compliance.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    Provide Legal Expertise:

    • Contribute to the development of the OPCO’s overall legal management, vision, strategy and policy
    • Provision of sound legal advice and opinions to the OPCO
    • Management of legal risk
    • Keep abreast of industry specific knowledge and key developments and changes in the legal landscape
    • Ensure efficient and effective stakeholder engagement, including but not limited to all internal OPCO departments, the Altron Group and external third parties

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contribute to the development of the OPCO’s overall legal management, vision, strategy and policy
    • Work in close collaboration with the OPCO’s executive committee (exco) to define the OPCO’s approach to the legal strategy and obtain sign off from Altron Group Legal where necessary.
    • In alignment with the overall approach, develop and implement the specific legal management approach for, and in alignment with, the OPCO’s business.
    • Drive the process of setting the legal appetite in the OPCO by facilitating between the exco and Altron Group Legal, the definition of key legal matters, defining the tolerance thresholds, control framework and the approach to dealing with these matters.
    • Monitor legal compliance and conduct legal compliance audits to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation.
    • Provide legal review and drafting in respect of Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Tender (RFT) and Requests for Quote (RFQ).
    • Peruse, draft, vet, advise on, and at times, negotiate, legal correspondence, standard and commercial agreements and provide advice and assurance to various OPCOs where requested thereby mitigating contractual and legal risk by taking into consideration South African Law and legal principles applicable for the legal protection of the OPCO and the Altron Group.
    • Assist in the drafting and regular updating of standard draft agreements which pertains to the business of the OPCO
    • Conduct ongoing research, keep abreast of new legislation, and maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and developments as they pertain to the business of the OPCO and implement these changes as applicable.
    • Assist with the development of company policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
    • Manage litigation matters in conjunction with the Altron Group Executive: Legal and external service providers, as applicable.
    • Participate in Group legal initiatives, including but not limited to Records Management and Contract Management projects.
    • Attend to instructions relating to other OPCO’s and Altron Group legal matters allocated to the candidate from time to time by the Altron Group Executive: Legal
    • Provision of sound legal advice and opinions to the OPCO
    • Manage or be involved in project work related to the relevant agreements e.g. new product developments, updating and amendment of templates for agreements and attestations etc.
    • Represent the OPCO in industry working groups and/or committees, as applicable.
    • Comment on impact of legislation on the OPCO and provide feedback to the exco, highlighting areas of concern and providing appropriate recommendations.
    • Educate and train staff on current and new legislation, as applicable.

    • The Senior SysOps Engineer will work as part of an impactful, talented team, responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing application and infrastructure, database, and middleware capabilities.     • The Senior Developer is responsible for the implementation of solutions on a Microsoft platform.  In order to do this they need to fully understand the problem that the solution is intended to solve, help design a solution, and develop and test it before releasing it to customers. This position is for someone who has depth and breadth of skills and exhibits leadership qualities.  This role entails problem solving, technical depth and innovation skills. They also need to have good communication skills and need to be able to sit with the Business Analyst and understand the requirements. They also need to be able to write a technical specification

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Senior Developer is responsible for the implementation of the design and the testing and maintenance of solutions.  Specifically:

    • Strong working knowledge of the design and implementation of solutions within your primary competency;
    • Contribution to the planning of delivery of solutions;
    • Assisting colleagues in terms of functionality and technical requirements;
    • Code and test the solution based on the architecture designed by project seniors.  This includes, but is not limited to, platform configuration, reporting and database development;
    • Produce detailed specifications;
    • Preparation of detailed, accurate documentation which provides a description of the functions and operation of the solution that team members can refer to if they need to modify or upgrade the solution. Documentation also provides the basis for operating instructions, guides for users, training programs and marketing guides;
    • Maintenance and performance enhancement on existing solutions;
    • Input into solution design decisions;
    • Direct interaction with customers including training, user acceptance and conducting relevant workshops;
    • Continuous testing of work(unit testing) to ensure that it meets the requirements of the specification and identify bugs (errors);
    • Use third party applications as chosen by Karabina;
    • Keep accurate record of time spent in the performance of your duties;
    • Maintain existing skills and acquire new skills as applicable to your job role;
    • Come up with innovative approaches to delivering more efficiently;
    • This role may entail active project delivery leadership and / or pre-sales engagements;
    • Ability to mentor members of the team;
    • Driving delivery and task oriented – deliver the required tasks in the expected time frame;
    • Escalate any issues timeously and clearly;
    • Ensure delivery of solutions within the allocated project timeframes;
    • Ensure discrete handling of all business information, particularly where confidential information is concerned;
    • Communicate with immediate manager, People Manager, other company department heads and employees, co-workers, clients and other individuals to co-ordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, resolve problems or give / receive advice /direction;
    • Administration: maintain an updated Microsoft Office Outlook calendar; completion of any required administration timeously (e.g. response on performance reviews): weekly timesheets, etc;
    • Travel locally, as required, to conduct the company’s business.

    QUALIFICATION:

    • Matric certificate - Non negotiable
    • Diploma - Informatics (or similar) - Non negotiable
    • University degree - Informatics (or similar) - Non- negotiable
    • Microsoft certifications - CE - Advantageous
    • Course in programming - C# and/or Javascript - Advantageous

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Microsoft Consulting environment - 5 – 8 years - Non-negotiable
    • Leadership - 1 - 2 years - Advantageous

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Ability to upskill on relevant technologies and iSPartners chosen third party technologies/ solutions - Non-negotiable
    • Knowledge of relevant MS technologies to fulfill daily tasks - Non-negotiable
    • Javascript - Non-negotiable
