    Project/IT Manager - South Africa

    Job description

    As An Information Technology Practitioner, You Will Be At The Forefront Of Helping P&G Win With Transformation Application Of Technology Such As

    • Enabling faster and smarter decision making by applying cutting edge technology like big data & IT/OT(operations technology) for P&G, its customers and consumers.
    • Transforming the way we do business in areas such as Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance and will create real business value through innovative technology solutions.
    • Providing valuable insights into how information and technology can be used together to bring competitive advantage in a global business environment.
    • Managing complex information technology projects and programs with regional & global footprint.

    We are aiming to fill two roles with exceptional IT practitioners:

    Role 1: IT & Operational Tech Leader for South Africa & Nigeria - based in Kempton Park:

    • Responsible for all IT & Operational Tech for our South Africa & Nigeria plants.
    • Accountable for the following IT focus areas at the plant:
      • E2E IT Master plan and portfolio integrated with PS Site master plan.
      • Accountable for the services GBS provides to the site, and the value the sites gets out of IT solutions and GBS services
      • Drive operational excellence (always on) IT & OT Infrastructure & Networking
      • Drive digitization strategy for the Site
      • Systemic remediation of IT issues identified by GIA
      • IT Continuity planning (avoid unplanned downtime)
      • Accountable for any IT project execution at the site (Local or Global integration)
      • IT Compliance, Cybersecurity vulnerability, & Info Security
      • End user and PC support (Via HPE)
      • IT Governance of non-GBS applications
      • Site IT Budget and funding and GBS Financials Invoice – Capital and expense for the site

    Role 2: IT Sales Delivery Manager - based in Sandton:

    Responsible for enabling the Sales function to bring new capabilities to market and improve their productivity and insights.

    Both roles require driving excellence in execution, digitization of business processes, and all around maintenance of our IT systems for each respective internal customers (Sales or Plant leadership).

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 years experience in a similar area of work.
    • At least a bachelor's degree in an IT discipline.
    • Proven track record of using technology to solve complex business problems.
    • Experience proactively improving ways to run business processes and/or applications.
    • Experience managing your own time effectively in addition to the time of others (e.g. coworkers, contractors, etc.).
    • Experience building collaborative relationships with multifunctional teams
    • Experience proactively communicating the status of projects, activities and roadblocks.
    • Proven ability to build capability for yourself & others through job experience, coaching/training, and knowledge sharing.

    Plant Security Manager / Facility Security Owner - South Africa

    Job description

    Summary of Role

    • Utilize Global Security tools to ensure a secure work environment andprovide guidance to Site Business Leaders and employees.
    • Ensures the physical security of the site meets minimum global standardsas established by the Asset Protection Rating.
    • Completion of the Global Security Asset Protection Rating – Site SelfAssessment on an annual basis and to ensure the Facility does comply withGlobal Security Standards – Gaps identified needs to be actioned.
    • Consult with the GS Security Manager to ensure the business is protectedin accordance with expectations of the local business unit leadership.
    • Liaison of informationsecurity awareness at the site.
    • Ensuring security systems are maintained and function properly.(OneKeyAccess System, CCTV system & Control Room, patrol system, panic buttons,electric fence) and to have capability and knowledge to operate systems )
    • Do all investigations related to the site and reporting of suchincidents on Archer Incident Management Tool and to report such incidents to theGlobal Security Manager for guidance.
    • Managing the Crisis Contact System and to ensure employee enrollment is upto date.
    • Act as the Information Security Champion for the Site and ensure allcommunication and processes are followed.
    • Ensuring that all Security SOP`s are updated and that procedures arefollowed.
    • Provide Security On-Boarding Training to new employees as per securityguidelines Do`s and Don’ts and to ensure these are followed.
    • Reporting will be to Plant Manager and HR Leader / Global Security Manager.
    • Future responsibility could also be to manage security force directlyfor the Site.
    • Facility and Soft Services management (canteen, cleaning, gardening,pest control, end of line, and fork lift driver services).
    • Perform monthly KPI review with the soft serviceprovider (s) which are preceded by weekly site tours

    Qualifications

    • Proven leadership ability - can lead projects , work autonomously to bring definition to open ended business situations.
    • Proven collaboration skills - can lead internal/external multi-functional teams and meet externally driven deadlines despite multiple priorities.
    • Able to work effectively in situations leading to appropriate solutions.
    • Must be decisive and tough when needed; always employing appropriate diplomacy.
    • Requires a track record of effective communication with all levels of management and external parties.

    OTHER: Previous experience in a security related role will be an advantage.
