Main Responsibilities:

Safety:

• Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations always.  (e.g.10 critical safety rules and three obligations)
• Ensure safety job cards are completed by target date.

Quality:

• Attend to defective equipment
• Eliminate rework. 
• Daily Review and signature of plant check lists.
• SAP notification completion. PM process compliance.

Housekeeping:

• Maintain world class levels of housekeeping according to the 5’s housekeeping standards
• Maintain Equipment care

Productivity:

• Corrects equipment non-conformances.
• Responsible to execute statutory and KCC equipment maintenance standards.
• Maintains a wide range of mechanical equipment such as Pumps hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Works with multi-disciplinary teams, engineering, operations and process, to improve over-all asset performance.
• Perform rotating equipment lubrication.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with sales stakeholders for on-time deliveries.
• Track and coordinate shipments, ensuring compliance with export regulations.
• Manage outbound orders, ensuring documentation accuracy and export compliance.
• Liaise with shipping agents and transporters for a streamlined export process.
• Provide timely and accurate information to internal stakeholders.
• Foster effective communication among various departments for smooth outbound operations.
• Independently handle work activities, ensuring adherence to organizational vision and strategy.
• Implement cost control measures, from raising service POs to monitoring freight percentages.
• Ensure accurate processing of invoices and adherence to purchase orders.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders for streamlined operations.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Customs and Excise requirements for the movement of goods.

Cost Control Mastery

• Raise service POs for additional costs.
• Obtain and review quotes from forwarders, validating pricing on invoices.
• Monitor freight percentages and reconcile with quotes.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and process costings on SAP.

Independence & Collaboration

• Work independently with a clear understanding of organizational priorities.
• Maintain robust internal communications and collaborate with local and international colleagues.
• Ensure effective communication across various business stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Warehouse, Clearing Agents, Suppliers, Planning, and Procurement.

Competencies & Qualifications

• Degree
• Certification in Customs Clearing & Forwarding advantageous.
• 2-4 years of operational experience in Import/Export activities, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in SAP advantageous and sound knowledge of shipping documents and procedures is necessary.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
