    Student Support Service Consultant

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Relevant Diploma in Administration or Communication would be advantageous
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in call centre or similar role is required
    • Experience in the role of a Programme Administrator is advantageous
    • Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
    • Computer literacy is essential is MS outlook, MS Word, MS Excel

    Main purposes of Job:

    • Resolve student queries promptly and efficiently each day to ensure that the relationship between the college and its students is professional, helpful and service-orientated.
    • Timeously contact and act as liaison between each student and the relevant stakeholder(s) and department(s) to ensure student enquiries are resolved and that the communication loop on the query is closed with the student
    • Using collaborate system (Bitrix24) daily to process student queries by accurately interpreting and acting on information for improving customer satisfaction levels
    • Assist other support staff and the student support manager within the department with quick resolution of each student query
    • Administration duties as requested by Senior Manager
    • Response to help desk queries and assist with special projects when required by management

    Senior Lecturer in Traffic and Metropolitan Policing

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Policing with expertise in Metropolitan and Traffic Policing.
    • 3-5 years of lecturing experience in higher education, particularly in Traffic Policing, Metropolitan Policing, or related fields.
    • Experience as a Traffic or Metropolitan police official or with agencies like the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) is an advantage.
    • The successful candidate for this role should possess a unique blend of metropolitan policing and road safety expertise, educational proficiency, leadership skills, innovation, and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of Traffic and Metropolitan Policing professionals. As a Senior Lecturer, you will serve as an academic guide and mentor, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within our Traffic and Metropolitan Policing programs.

    Faculty Management Assistance:

    • Play a leadership role in internal and external meetings.

    • Act as Head of Faculty when required in the absence of the substantive Head of Faculty.

    Research Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research for program development and regular program review.

    Student Journey Officer/Customer Service Consultant

    Educational requirements:

    • Minimum requirement of Grade 12 however a post school qualification more advantageous
    • Minimum 3 years proven experience in academic and programme administration
    • Technical knowledge of integrated quality assurance administration in order to comply with accreditation criteria
    • Knowledge of which programmes are regulated by which regulatory body – DHET, CHE, UMALUSI, QCFTO, SETAs and professional bodies such as SABPP
    • Technical skills in the use of the ICAS student information system
    • Organized administration systems and practices that adhere to policies and procedures
    • MS office proficient

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Administration of the student onboarding process. From application to registration, enrolment and orientation
    • Academic department administration student records, academic reports and certification/graduation
    • Student success and retention including student query management and resolution
    • Programme facilitation, including assessment administration, materials, textbooks and resources
    • Student and lecturer surveys and feedback per programme
    • General administrative tasks
