    Short Term Insurance Advisor and Underwriter

    • You’re an experienced Short Term Insurance Advisor with a knack for both personal and commercial insurance policies. You excel in quoting, underwriting, and issuing new renewal policies while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • In this dynamic role, you’ll manage a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance policies by quoting, underwriting, and issuing new and renewal policies for both new and existing clients.
    • Your daily tasks will involve liaising with clients to ensure their needs are met, building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, and recording all relevant details on the necessary systems.
    • Additionally, you’ll have the chance to cross-sell by signing clients from other areas of the business, contributing to the company’s growth and success.

    What you’ll need

    • To thrive in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of working as a Short Term Insurance Advisor coupled with a completed degree or NQF Level 5 qualification, alongside RE5 certification with the intention of completing RE1.
    • Strong management experience and a desire to drive business strategy is a must.
    • You should also demonstrate excellent administrative and time management skills, be client-focused with great interpersonal skills, and have computer literacy including proficiency in Excel. Your own reliable transport is essential.

    • You need to be fully bilingual in Afrikaans in order to be able to support clients in the field.
