JOB DESCRIPTION

To act as the subject matter expert and dedicated specialist to accurately calculate and timeously submit relevant Liquidity Risk metrics to internal stakeholders and external regulators to enable the monitoring of the risk position against the risk appetite triggers and tolerance limits for Standard Bank South Africa. To advance the end-to-end Liquidity Risk business processes to achieve regulatory and audit compliance and optimise the efficiencies and accuracy of these processes.

• Post Graduate Degree in Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

• 3-4 years experience in banking asset and liability management, finance reporting, quantitative financial modelling and risk management. In addition, knowledge of and experience in market risk, liquidity risk and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) would be required.
