    Assistant Store Manager Mr Price Money

    Support and assist the store manager in managing the daily operations of a mr price money cellular store to ensure that the overall objectives, store targets and customer service standards are met and exceeded.                   

    Key Responsibilities

    Stock Management:

    • Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
    • Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes (stock counts, stock takes, stock loss action plans etc.) to mitigate risks (stock loss) and ensure adequate stock on hand.
    • Oversee the overall maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.
    • Assist with authorising write offs, breakages, recalls, OBF (out of box failures), cellular repairs and returns.              
    • Sales Growth & Profitability:
    • Analyse sales & profitability reports in store to collaborate with management on required operational action plans, increase sales performance and monitor store expenditure.
    • Monitior, review and keep abreast of in-store product performance to provide feedback to support centre and enhance sales.
    • Keep abreast of new opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness. This may include: in-store marketing, competitor shopping. 

    Drive credit, Insurance , Mobile and Cellular performance to achieve the agreed budget.
    Risk Management:

    • Assist the store manager to conduct compliance checks through defined processes (e.g. admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO reports, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security etc.) to ensure and enforce overall compliance to policies and procedures. 
    • Customer Experience Management:
    • Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes (through the execution of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback, general housekeeping etc.) to meet customer service standards.                 
    • Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and drive the team within a store to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in line with company values.
    • Identify & drive training, coaching and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.
    • Recruit, administer & manage performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.                                                                                                               

    Requirements

    Education:
    NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • 3 Years' Experience in Retail (Management Experience Advantageous).

    Knowledge/ Skills:

    • Understanding of Sales & Service Management.
    • Budgeting Skills.
    • Computer Literate.
    • Good Communication Skills
    • Understanding of Retail Trade.
    • Brand, customer service , cellular, mobile, new accounts, and insurance product understanding

    Management Accountant Mr Price

    Mr Price is looking for a newly qualified CA (SA) to join our Finance team.     Key Responsibilities

    • Analyse the current state of the environment
    • Define the future state of the environment that we want to achieve
    • Assess the risks and define a change strategy
    • Responsible for keeping up to date with current and future trends and make relevant recommendations to the team                        

    Planning & Monitoring            

    • Define the BA approach which includes BA governance, performance improvements that need to made based on last review [i.e. lessons learnt] and any information management that needs to be adhered to
    • Based on the stakeholder analysis, plan the best way of engaging with these stakeholders that gains commitment and helps them adopt the change

    Elicitation and Collaboration              

    • Plan the elicitation sessions that would need to be set up and define what the goals of each session should be and the type of session that would be most effective to run.
    • Detail the elicitation results from these sessions and play them back to the stakeholders to validate and confirm them

    Requirements Analysis, Design and Life Cycle                    

    • Specify and model the requirements making sure they are at the right level of granularity and that they support the business goals
    • Define solution options and compare them based on potential value and recommend a solution
    • Understand what requirements map to what components or designs
    • Keep requirements current throughout project lifecylcle
    • Prioritise requirements based on business value and urgency
    • Assess requirement changes to determine whether they should be tackled within the scope of the project
    • Get approval on requirements

    Solution Evaluation                

    • Measure the performance of the solution using the predefined metrics in the business case
    • If there are factors constraining the performance and resultant value then recommend solutions to increase this value            

    Leading People                      

    • Lead other Business Analysts on strategic projects
    • Drive efficiencies in BA practices
    • Provide guidance on business problems
    • Lead complex workshops and facilitation sessions
    • Coach intermediate Business Analysts
