    National Sales Manager - Indirect Channel/Aviation & Specialty Products

    The role of the NSM for Indirect/Aviation and Specialty sales is to lead the sales account managers to deliver growth on the company’s aspired top and bottom-line. The role involves building strategic alliances with wholesalers who fit AE’s pre-agreed profile, hunting for new distributors, growing existing as well as the creation of new channels for sales in line with the overall strategy for growth.

    This role is now responsible for 60% of C&I’s volume and margin portfolio.

    • Contract management Keep market wet
    • Manage Direct OPEX to achieve required savings targets
    • Achieve the   Aviation, Specialties and C&I - IDC Volume Plan (Volumes in Liters)
    • Ensure that Profit margins are achieved for Aviation, Specialities and C&I - IDC business.
    • Manage the Capex for the C&I - IDC business to deliver projects within the time, cost & quality budget. Ensure full cost recovery at CTIA
    • Manage the Growth of New business within Aviation, Specialities and C&I Business 
    • Growth share of Wallet business
    • Regulate the Reduction of Customer Churn in the C&I business and ensure Competitive pricing 
    • Measure the C&I Customer Satisfaction through the CSI survey.
    • Aviation CVP development and rollout
    • Keep market wet and meet WSP targets (sales effectiveness)
    • Execute on the Transformation plan for C&I 
    • Capacitate the business with the right talent and provide required support and coaching
    • Ensure that Demand forecasting is done accurately
    • Aviation review and growth strategy
    • Control the Credit facility for the Aviation, specialty and C&I business
    • Drive the PCP look back optimization for the C&I business
    • Drive the Implementation of HR initiatives

    Professional Qualification and Certifications: Postgraduate Diploma

    Ten years+ of a demonstrated track record of experience in the following:

    • Customer relationship management
    • New business development
    • B2B selling
    • Knowledge of the Oil Industry, Aviation its products and services.
    • Business acumen including knowledge of business sectors, current market, and industry status
    • Strategy development and deployment
    • Team Leadership and performance management skills
    • Creative and critical problem-solving skills
    • Numerical and analytical thinking skills
    • Emotional Intelligence skills
    • Highly proficient time management and planning abilities
    • Collaboration skills

    Manager - Pricing & Risk

    The primary goal of this position is to help minimize profit/loss risks associated with commodity price volatility, conveying market intelligence to leadership, and acting as a liaison between Astron Energy and the market.

    Financial Perspective

    • Ensure control to GM-EVCO for product price exposure on all imports and local sales/purchase 
    • Create and manage pricing tool to assist traders with managing exposure
    • Evaluate and make recommendations on neutral stock levels on an annual basis or ah-hoc if required

    Customer Perspective

    • Develop and manage relationships as appropriate with all company business stakeholders Product Supply & Trading, Technical advisory team
    • Support trading team in conversations with C&I and Retail

    Internal Processes

    • Working closely with the Value Chain Optimization planners, Demand forecasters, Trading team  to obtain changes to refinery operations, impacting crude and product pricing, product sales and product purchases
    • Understand pricing exposure across the value chain and ensure we have appropriate risk mitigation strategies with trading manager to minimize risk

    People Management

    • Steward the use of Loss Prevention System in the day to day operations
    • Report to management on Pricing exposure activities versus plan.
    • Professional Qualification and Certifications:  Bachelor’s degree in business related field
    • Work Experience: 5 years’ experience in a financial or commercially orientated role

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Attention to detail, process control, strong desire and passion to learn and innovate.
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to identify issues and implement process improvements.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Understanding of priced exposure concepts and Basic understanding of trading instruments
