Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Core/Backend System Developer

Duties and requirements:

• Core/Backend System Developer
• Review existing database implementation.
• Recommend and implement changes to improve performance and reliability.
• Maintain and improve existing code base
• Develop new features and enhancements
• Integration to multiple other systems.
• Implement and document database administration and development best practice
• Design and develop software applications using and C#.NET, ASP.net, JQuery, Java, PHP
• Analyse business requirements and technical specifications, and architect solutions with high performance
• Excellent knowledge on designing and developing complex software applications
• Proficient on using Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012
• Must be a fast learner. Be able to come up to speed on new applications and technology in a very short amount of time
• Must be able to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member
• Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once

Education requirements:

• BSc Computer Science, Information Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree OR relevant diploma.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year successful experience in Telesales (Motor Comprehensive and or MotorVaps)
• Experience in an outbound call centre environment
• Passion for sales
• Excellent Telephone selling skills with professional telephone manner and commercial acumen and the capability to communicate with enthusiasm and drive
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) – good command of the English language
• Motor industry experience will be an advantage
• Results driven
• Good negotiating and closing skills
• Target and incentive driven
• Energetic

• Excellent time management and attention to detail

Preferred Education

• Grade 12/Matric
• FAIS Compliant (please specify amount of FAIS credits)
• Strong Formal Sales Training/Understanding
• RE Qualification completed – added advantage.
