    Store Supervisor

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide guidance, supervision and set an example for the team
    • Develop and guide team members in selling techniques, product knowledge, operational standards, customer service and visual merchandising standards
    • Ensure store is staffed according to agreed staffing schedules based on business requirements
    • Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalised experience for all customers
    • Drive sales and turnover by motivating and inspiring the team members to achieve sales targets
    • Ensure visual merchandising standards create a beautiful store experience
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy and fully replenished sales floor
    • Ensure stock levels, stock losses and shrinkage are effectively managed
    • Ensure all products are correctly priced with relevant Price stickers and /or signage
    • Ensure that stock take, and cycle count variance reports are checked, variances are investigated, and stock shortages or unbalanced stock information is escalated to the Area Manager
    • Ensure that point of sale and banking procedures are adhered to and raise any areas of concern with the Area Manager
    • Ensure all store standards and operations policies and procedures are adhered to
    • Effective execution of all operational activities within the store

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • A matric, grade 12 or equivalent certificate
    • A minimum of two years’ experience supervising a small team in a retail store
    • A passion for cosmetics, retail, and customer service
    • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • A strong work ethic and hands-on attitude
    • Sound leadership skills
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs
    • Ability to schedule staff rota and manage attendance Ability to plan and prioritize tasks
    • Basic proficiency with email and Excel
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to remain calm and pleasant in pressurised situations
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • Ability to demonstrate and promote products

    Production And Maintenance Foreman - Edenvale

    Job Description

    • Provide a proactive and responsive approach to maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventive measures, thereby guaranteeing the seamless operation of machinery
    • Ensure there is a planned maintenance schedule in place.
    • Ensure maintenance is carried out as per approved planned maintenance schedule.
    • Perform daily checks on all production machinery and ensure machinery set up is correct prior to the commencement of the production process.
    • Ensure all repairs or replacements are actioned prior to the commencement of the production process.
    • Ensure all breakdowns are analysed, and timeously repaired.
    • Ensure adequate stock holding is in place for critical parts and parts required for general maintenance and breakdowns.  
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are implemented and adhered to.
    • Provide input on the maintenance, modification, and procurement of machinery and equipment.
    • Report any concerns regarding equipment usage and wear and tear to line manager.
    • Ensure all employees operating equipment and machinery are adequately trained and authorised to operate the relevant equipment and machinery.  
    • Ensure only suitably qualified employees or contractors perform maintenance or repairs on any equipment, machinery, pneumatic equipment, or infrastructure.
    • Partner with SHE Officer to ensure that all areas are covered in terms of inspections and maintenance. 
    • Action any items raised by Risk and Compliance following a Health and Safety inspection for your area of responsibility.
    • Perform quality inspections on work performed by contractors prior to sign off of job card and authorisation for payment.
    • Perform minor maintenance tasks as and when required.
    • Obtain quotes as and when requested from the list of preferred suppliers, and forward to line manager for approval.
    • Maintain proper storage of all equipment and or tools.
    • Ensure housekeeping is maintained according to established standards.
    • Ad hoc deliveries and collections for and from suppliers.
    • Ensure strict compliance to Standard Operating Procedure 1 Equipment Maintenance.
    • Ensure strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedure 9 Setting up and Operating Compressed air tools.
    • Draft, signoff and maintain standard operating procedures for Machine Operators for all machinery used in the production facility.

    Requirements 

    • Grade 12/Matric or equiverlaant 
    • Qualified electrician with Diploma or equivalent qualification related to electrical engineering and electrical installations is required.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role is required.
    • Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical engineering, fitting, and turning, conveyor belts is required.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment is required.
    • Experience with general building maintenance is required.

    Brand Sales Coordinator - Edenvale

    Job Summary 

    We have an opportunity for a Brand Sales Coordinator.  The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service, processing of on-line and in-store purchases, stock management, adherence to store standards and point of sale processes in line with operational excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    On-line:

    • Ensure all online orders are accurately picked
    • Process picking slips and delivery notes to ensure correct orders are dispatched
    • Monitor stock levels, liaise with the Marketing Co-ordinator for timeous updates on eCommerce
    • Respond to all on-line customer requests, comments and complaints and escalate to the Marketing Manager or relevant department as and when required.

    Head Office Store:

    • Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalised experience for customers.
    • Respond to all in-store customer requests, comments and complaints and escalate to the Area Manager, and Marketing Manager, or relevant department as and when required.
    • Assist internal and external customers, with product information, promotional discounts, special offers, and process transactions.
    • Monitor stock levels and liaise with the warehouse for timeous replenishment
    • Place order with the Customer Care department and ensure that there are sufficient stock levels for full range
    • Practice accurate stock rotation and follow the FIFO principle ensuring that only up to date and accurate stock is displayed.
    • Conduct daily floor walks and raise any ideas, queries, or concerns with the Area Manager.
    • Ensure that all maintenance concerns are raised timeously with the Maintenance Assistant.
    • Ensure all departments in the shop are fully replenished.
    • Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained including but not limited to swept floors, shelves dusted, and all testers cleaned/wiped daily or as and when necessary.
    • Implement and maintain Signature store visual merchandising standards and disciplines according to the approved Visual Merchandising Handbook, and approach the Area
    • Manager for additional guidance and support.
    • Implement monthly promotions according to instructions with the relevant signage and display material used to highlight promotions to increase sales, e.g., posters, shelf talkers, Perspex stands, A4 stands riser cards.
    • Focus on the average basket size by ensuring that all customers have been greeted, new line items have been offered and explained, a basket has been offered, and link sell opportunities have been made.
    • Utilise testers to effectively introduce customers to the product range.
    • Offer customers Loyalty Card membership and provide details of the benefits of the card.
    • Ensure that purchases are gift wrapped to required standards, when requested.
    • Participate in cycle counts and stock takes
    • Prevent damages by housing products in the shop and in storage areas as per stock handling and storage standards.
    • Communicate order timelines for Head Office allocations
    • Receive, pick, and process staff allocation purchases for Head Office
    • Perform cash ups at the end of each day.
    • Raise any breach of procedure, breach of policy or any other concern with either the Marketing Manager or Area Manager.
    • Maintain documentation and filing on a daily basis.
    • Ensure that point of sale, banking procedures and petty cash procedures are adhered to and raise any areas of concern with the Area manager.
    • Adhere to the staff schedule and ensure area of responsibility is covered at all times utilising the buddy-buddy system.

    Staff Uniform:

    • Liaise with Area Managers for uniform and badge orders and dispatch to stores monthly
    • Communicate order timelines for staff uniforms
    • Receive, pick, and process staff uniforms
    • Submit stock on hand (SOH) for uniforms, including Warehouse SOH to Marketing Manager and Autograph monthly

      General:

    • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to Point of Sale, Cash
    • Handling and Staff Uniform Policies.
    • Attend and participate in all scheduled training, including product knowledge training and transfer new knowledge and skills to daily activities performed.
    • Ensure Marketing Manager is copied on relevant communication

    Requirements:
    Educational qualification:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is required.

    Experience

    • Minimum of one years working experience in a retail or related environment is required
    • Experience in a customer service function in a retail or related environment an advantage
    • Experience working with beauty, fragrances, and skincare products is an advantage.
    • Experience working with Point of Sale, and Microsoft Office (emails and Excel) is an advantage
