    Domain Architect Retail

    Responsibilities:

    • Consult on the Retail strategy, develop roadmaps and reference architectures, and govern the technology selection in support thereof.
    • Develop and maintain an understanding of the technology strategy and business priorities for Retail in the enterprise.
    • Develop compamys Retail landscape roadmap and blueprints in line with the strategic business direction
    • Maintain, socialize and enforce Retail System standards, keeping technology stakeholders up to date with changes in the technology standards highlighting potential impact to the enterprise.
    • Be clearly identified as the Retail Systems authority for all technologies and provide technical guidance and leadership in technology proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and project teams.
    • Keep abreast of the latest Retail technology trends and emerging technologies, determine the potential impact on the enterprise, and drive adoption as deemed appropriate.
    • Create and present reference architectures as advice on the Retail architecture strategy for the organization.
    • Serve as the Retail domain architecture and design authority for all project and operational stakeholders, and ensure architecture quality across all solution platforms enabled by customer-facing solutions
    • Be clearly identified as the senior design authority as it relates to the Retail domain and provide technical guidance and leadership in solution proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and project teams.
    • Partner with the Enterprise Architect and other Solution Architects in support of the definition and development of the overall enterprise solution landscape.
    • Detect critical deficiencies in Retail architectures and recommend improvements.
    • Work with external service providers to drive projects to successful implementation.
    • Review external and internal designs for Retail systems from a risk and technology perspective
    • Ensure applicable Architecture and Design reviews are conducted for Retail solutions in line with the defined IT governance and processes.
    • Provide architectural oversight and guidance to development teams to ensure high-quality technical solution designs during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases that conform to architecture principles and standards.
    • Mentor solution architect / senior developers / designers / business analysts.
    • Provide expert Retail guidance, ensure solution architectures and designs are in line with the Retail strategy and technology standards and conduct architecture and design reviews as part of the Architecture Review Committee.
    • Define and develop the overall Retail architecture landscape in partnership with other Domain Architects and Solution Architects.
    • Review proposed solution architectures ensuring alignment with architecture principles, the architecture framework, Retail reference architectures, set technology standards and identify critical gaps, and recommend improvements.
    • Give guidance and advice to peers in respect to Retail solution designs ensuring the designs conform to industry best practices and standards.
    • Engage all stakeholders to obtain agreement on proposed Retail solutions and work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, System Analysts and Project Managers to architect and implement retail solutions.
    • Contribute to solution architecture and design standards and SDLC governance requirements
    • Define a framework for Solution Architecture and develop the policies and procedures and templates to guide and govern the Solution Architecture processes.
    • Develop and maintain solution architecture principles and quality compliance criteria to guide technology decisions.
    • Develop and set solution modeling standards and guidelines.
    • Define a set of metrics to measure and report on the performance of the various solution architecture processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Information Systems / B Sc Computer Science (or similar)
    • TOGAF certification

    Experience Required:

    • Working experience within the IT industry., 10-15 yrs
    • An in-depth functional understanding of SAP Retail, SAP Master Data, Pricing, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inter module integration and back-office Retail Finance., 5-10 yrs
    • Worked on projects across multiple applications, SAP and non-SAP, 5-10 yrs
    • Retail industry experience with an understanding of retail business processes., 5 yrs
    • Understanding of different methods of SAP integration (ALE/IDOC, enterprise services, MFT, PI), 5+ yrs
    • Experience with all aspects of IT projects from business analysis, architectures, system analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and production support (SDLC)., 5+ yrs
    • Excellent design and architecture skills and proven track record delivering well designed complex enterprise class systems., 5+ yrs

    Senior Software Developer

    Job Purpose

    As a Senior Developer your deep specialized knowledge to create, test and document high quality software will be a key success factor. Your collaborative technical guidance and mentorship to others will ensure that high quality of code and performance is maintained, as well as contribute to design patterns, libraries, frameworks and processes. You will be part of a team that provides technical solutions to enterprise problems and delivers high performing software for a fast-paced consumer environment. You will apply DevSecOps principles, and employ proper source code control, infrastructure security and necessary automation. Work closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architects, as well as other cross functional teams and stakeholders in co-creating a sustainable application experience.

    Job Objectives:

    • Apply the attributes of the Job Purpose, as needed, to aspects (of software applications) such as the front-end, back-end, interface-based, data persistence, etc.

    Code, Test and Debug Software:

    • Ensure that coding mistakes are found and eliminated at the earliest possible point, by using the best available coding and debugging techniques, unit testing and TDD (where applicable), smoke testing and further testing, and interaction with QA professionals.
    • Apply DevSecOps principles by automating as much of code standards checks, built-in security and testing as possible.

    Deploying application to live environment:

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Experience developing in at least one of Java, J2EE, C++, C, Golang, (Preferred) in a front-end focused test-driven environment.

    IT Demand and Capacity Manager

    Role Description:

    • Govern, manage and execute the demand pipeline and IT unit capacity.
    • Develop a Demand and Capacity Framework, defining the processes and tools to effectively forecast, plan, schedule and monitor resourcing across projects, changes and delivery road maps.
    • Facilitate the annual and quarterly planning cycle including structuring, capturing, estimating and mapping of demand against agreed plans and resource base.
    • Develop, define and implement the overall IT demand management structure, capability needs and processes in agreement with IT Leadership.
    • Facilitate regular communication channels and forums to align on planned activities between business units and IT and create transparency about upcoming business initiatives, the current demand pipeline, the current IT change execution performance and capacity situation.
    • Ensure demand and capacity expectations and potential risks are proactively managed and communicated.
    • Liaise and work with the BEMs to shape, implement and ensure consistent execution of the demand management processes.
    • Attend relevant business and decision-making forums which deal with future IT demand and new requirements.
    • Develop and maintain a project and enhancement roadmap aligned with business priority, IT capacity, technical dependencies and ongoing project portfolio.
    • Ensure that the BEMs capture new demand with scope and specification in order to have a consistent basis for estimation and scheduling of implementation.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all demand related issues including preparing information packs for senior IT management, business units and key stakeholders, creating transparency over the demand pipeline, status of current in-flight projects and day-to-day operational demand and capacity performance metrics.
    • Manage direct reports to ensure the demand and capacity framework is operating correctly.
    • Develop KPIs for Demand and Capacity Management as well as dashboards and regular reports to create transparency and tracking of all change and project demand and capacity requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related - (essential).
    • Certification / qualification in Project Management - (essential).
    • +4 years' demand and capacity management experience, with demonstrable knowledge and understanding of demand, scheduling and pipeline management processes, applications and tools (incl. Workforce Management Software and Heat Maps) - (essential).
    • Highly proficient in performing statistical analysis, identifying forecast trends and seasonality, recognizing turning points in demand and monitoring changes in key business drivers - (essential).
    • Demonstrated ability to interface with key functions to integrate inputs and data into actionable insights and plans - (essential).
    • Experience in a retail or FMCG environment - (highly beneficial).
    • Strong working knowledge of project management methodology and integration of lifecycles - (essential).
