    Manager Finance Group Reporting

    PURPOSE:

    • The successful incumbent will fulfill the necessary requirements by providing timeous, reliable, and accurate information to management and Holding company.

    KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Accurately prepare Group monthly and annual financial results in terms of IFRS, for holding company and local
    • Board reporting.
    • Financial analysis and variance explanations, including trend analysis.
    • Various month end task, including journal preparations and reconciliations
    • Ensure compliance in terms of statutory requirements (SOX, IFRS, CO’s Act, various Tax Acts),
    • Coordination and Preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
    • Performing the month end close process on SAP.
    • Attending to queries from holding company and local management
    • Maintenance of SAP Chart of accounts, including GL master data change requirements
    • Preparing ad hoc financial analysis and reports and assisting with special projects.
    • Coordinating and supporting the external audit.
    • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of business and system processes and controls to ensure
    • integrity and accuracy of information, including a thorough understanding of the Trial balance.
    • IFRS technical expert – In-depth understanding of IFRS. New Accounting policy preparation and adoption in
    • line with business understanding and relevance thereof.
    • Company and Group consolidation and preparation of Annual Financial Statement including disclosure in
    • terms of IFRS
    • Completion of various surveys
    • Preparation of information to support BBBEE requests
    • Knowledge and understanding of APDP
    • Preparation of detailed tax computations with current and deferred tax workings
    • Preparation of the monthly Group VAT 201 return for submission to SARS
    • Preparation of Income Tax & VAT cash flow forecast with variance analysis

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • CA(SA), (Articles in Big 4 firm),
    • ERP system experience (SAP) – Maintenance & operational
    • 3 – 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Actively proficient in applying IFRS
    • Demonstrate good management skills.
    • Advanced computer literacy (Essential) (MS Excel)
    • Good business acumen (Advantageous)
    • Overtime will be required

    Specialist Finance BR Component Exports

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

    • Reporting to the Senior Manager BR Component Export, the incumbent will fulfil the necessary requirements within the FEG Export Division to meet the Company’s objectives. The function will support future projects to grow TSAM component export business aligned with the global transition from ICE to future NEV.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Review and deeply understand current PGM parts and the potential for export sustainability.
    • Prepare monthly management reports to track and improve performance of the component export business.
    • Engage with TSAM, TMC & TME responsible divisions to support export opportunities of various commodities.
    • Understand the supply chain for each identified technology.
    • Lead pre-feasibility studies evaluate the merit of new business proposals.
    • Issue and coordinate product studies for component export related projects that require FETS investment and hand over to PPMD for project implementation after funds are approved. 
    • Critically evaluate existing export processes and identify Hoshins and propose improvement strategies.
    • To participate in TSAM projects as needed to develop new product supply chains with specific emphasis on NEV parts as S.A. policy and legislation is developed and updated.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF 6 (Minimum 360 credits), Degree in Commerce plus 5 years of relevant working experience or technical qualification plus equivalent relevant experience in a related discipline.
    • Track record of leadership and relationship building abilities across diverse disciplines and functional areas.
    • Costing with localization engineering experience will be an advantage.
    • Experience in a Project environment within the Vehicle Manufacturing Industry or Automotive Component Manufacturing sector will be an advantage.
    • Must have excellent computer literacy – Excel (advanced) Word & PowerPoint (intermediate)
