    Wages Clerk - Ndabeni

    A permanent role 

    • To be responsible for the administration of the Time & Attendance System (T&A) for the site. 
    • To provide accurate and timeous information and support to the HR and Payroll department

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

    Key Attributes and Competencies

    • Ensure there are clocking entries captured on T&A System. 
    • Leave application forms captured on spreadsheet for submission to Payroll administrator.  
    • Issuing and testing of access cards to employees and contractors. 
    • Resolve queries regarding clocking’s and leave with Controllers and Managers and update accordingly. 
    • Process shift & schedule changes for accurate calculation of hours worked. 
    • Process and execute daily / weekly reports for factories. 
    • Compile overtime and allowances reports for approval and submission to HRSSC
    • Keeping leave forms for BRG employees up to date and in order. 
    • Check that clocking machines and servers are online. 
    • Liaise with Time and Attendance technician when readers are off-line. 
    • Prepare payroll output file. 
    • Assist with HR projects and activities
    • Sound internal controls.

    HR Operation Officer: Recruitment Employment checks

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Within your functional work stream you deliver cost-efficient and effective HR services to employees and managers across the organisation meeting all contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and constantly applying a strong customer orientation attitude. You make sure to follow standard procedures and document all activities in order to meet legalization requirements and to meet the desired efficiency gains.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Carry out all transactional activities that lie within the responsibility of your functional work stream or provide tier-1 and 2 HR support to all employees and leaders across Tiger Brands related to conducting employment checks for candidates
    • Maintain and monitor SLAs between HRSS Centre, business areas and 3rd Party Vendors
    • Review and regularly develop / customise HR reports & metrics to suit business needs
    • Participate in regular meetings, invite stakeholders to HRSS functional work stream events, encourage participation and feedback from business into SLA improvement
    • Inform business teams regarding changes
    • Continually update all stakeholders on progress, process changes, system updates and all other relevant matters pertaining to HRSS area of responsibility
    • Be the SME in the functional work stream processes using the desired HR system
    • Deliver continuously improved HR administrative services

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Business or HR related degree
    • Professional HR certification / membership preferred
    • 4-6 years post-qualification experience within HR / SSC
    • 2-3 years experience in an Operations role within HR SSC looking after functional work stream transactions
    • Experience with HR Information Systems (Oracle pref.)
    • Experience in managing Service Level Agreements
    • Experience in interacting with cross-functional and multi-regional teams
    • Proficient in Excel

    Customer Manager: Shoprite & PnP - GP

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE

    • You are accountable for developing, implementing and managing a defined national customer or portfolio of customers’ strategy that is aligned to the national customer strategy.  You own the customer relationship and use it to maximise and capitalise on sales opportunities.     • Work with Customer Marketing to develop a defined customer or portfolio of customers’ investment strategy to deliver the budgeted volumes.

    • Negotiate, track and evaluate spend ensuring activity compliance and ROI. 
    • Implement and manage customer initiatives in the commercialization of innovation projects.
    • Negotiate defined customer or portfolio of customers’ listings & launch support with relevant buyers. Control and implement the account promotional grid & budgeted spend. 
    • Complete pre-& post evaluation of ROI of all account promotions to ensure maximum commercial effectiveness.
    • Communicate pricing & promo activities internally and externally to all stakeholders.
    • Implement and monitor co-ad spend in line with budget.
    • Work with Regional Sales Managers to ensure coverage of most important stores (without overlap).
    • Manage expenses and co-ad within agreed budget
