    Dispatch Loader - Durban

    Job Description    

    • RCL Foods is recruiting a driven, highly energized, resilient Dispatch Loader within the baking business unit. The suitable candidate will be required to ensure that bread and/or other products are loaded onto company vehicles and offloaded from company vehicles effectively, efficiently, and accurately.

    This role will be based in Durban and reporting to the Regional Dispatch Manager.

    Minimum Requirements    
    Education

    • Grade 12

    Skills

    • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

    Experience

    • Experience in FMCG environment advantage

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Stock and Loading

    • Pull stock from the cage according to the dispatch clerk’s instructions.
    • Place stock in loading bay in a manner that easily enables the dispatch clerk to count the stock.
    • Lock cage/door when instructed by dispatch clerk.
    • Follow dispatch clerk’s instructions as to when to load the stock onto company vehicles.
    • Ensure stock is loaded according to company safety standards.
    • Ensure stock is loaded in such a way as to prevent damage to the product.
    • Assist Van Assistant to offload returns and empty crates when vehicles return to company premises.
    • Ensure all damages are moved to the damages container when instructed.

    Financial Accountant – Administration, Projects & Tax (Malelane)

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a DYNAMIC FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - ADMINISTRATION, PROJECTS AND TAX based in MALELANE, MPUMALANGA. The incumbent will provide accounting, management and administration support to the Finance and Commercial Teams and ad-hoc projects support to the Sugar Division, and assist with the Tax compliance function ito Income Tax and VAT.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • B.Com Degree with Tax and Accounting as main subjects coupled with at least 3 years’ experience.
    • Completed Articles with Income Tax and VAT experience.
    • Advanced MS Excel and working experience on SAP is essential.
    • In depth knowledge of PowerPoint and Presentations.
    • Must be able to identify and implement innovations, particularly those that improve system utilization, financial compliance, and profitability.
    • Demonstrated success in managing projects relating to superior performance and continuous improvement.
    • The ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy is critical to this position.

    Planner - Pongola

    Job Description

    • The objective of this position is to render and control all maintenance planning under the direction of the Planning officer and provide input to the drawing and condition monitoring services to the Factory.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Trade Test Certificate (Fitter/Millwright/Electrician)
    • N3 in Engineering studies or equivalent qualification 
    • MS Office (Excel - Advanced; Word – intermediate; Outlook – intermediate, Projects)
    • SAP Module (PM, MM) 

    Experience and Training 

    • Minimum of 5 years working experience as a trade tested Artisan (Fitter/Millwright/Electrician
    • Experience in budgeting, cost management & forecasting processes
    • 2 years’ experience in a Planning role will be advantageous.
    • OR 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Foreman or Engineer in a heavy industrial production environment will be advantageous.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Oversee day to day activities and responsibilities of Planning Clerks
    • Control movements of assets in the Asset register and asset disposal thereof.
    • Service the packing station maintenance planning, cost per equipment and stoppage reporting
    • Prepare maintenance schedules of all assets in accordance with the planned maintenance requirements.
    • Control the release of all schedules work, including safety schedules.
    • Control routine maintenance of equipment by ensuring that maintenance satisfies equipment condition, in particularly for off crop planning purposes.
    • Facilitate the labelling and correctness of plant assets in accordance with the set standards.
    • Analysing of new equipment installations for defects before final commissioning or handing over from the Supplier/Contractor.
    • Generate, prepare, develop and distribute reports to Section Managers/Management on the following: Employee utilization, Workload Stats, Callouts, Lost Time Availability, Cost and History Reports on high maintenance Equipment, Critical Spares availability, Outstanding Works Orders, Safety and Statutory Works orders, Offcrop labour requirements, Offcrop Work progress, Root Cause Analysis.
    • Responsible for collating, generating and circulation of standby rooster.
    • Monitor and compile the requirements as per risk audit guideline.
    • Ongoing risk evaluation and proactive risk management steps are taken to ensure the availability and integrity plant.
    • Provide input maintenance, operational, materials, employment and capital budgets.
    • Monthly management and deviations reports.
    • Training of employees on Planned Maintenance system on SAP, with reference to the EAM Strategy.
    • Report and investigate all accidents, incidents and implement preventative measures.

    Business Analyst (Finance) - Randfontein

    Job Description    
    RCL FOODS is on the hunt for an analytical individual with a finance background and a passion for ERP systems and who is a Syspro super user, to join our Grocery Division as a Business Analyst (Finance). This role is based in Randfontein and reports to the Finance Executive.

    • The purpose of the role is to act as the business support advisor and Super User to the Syspro ERP environment for the Grocery Business Unit. To work in conjunction with the Business to identify, design, and specify applications solutions that meet the business requirements and achieve the Business requirement; and to facilitate the implementation of identified solutions utilising recognised project management methodologies.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum Degree in Commerce/Accounting (BCom) - non-negotiab
    • Diploma / degree in Project Management will be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience within a finance function and role of the ERP – Syspro super user.
    • Demonstrates success in managing projects relating to superior performance and continuous improvement.
    • Has excellent knowledge and work experience in a Business Environment with strong finance experience.
    • Valid code EB drivers’ license.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Assist end users to resolve ERP related issues across the Grocery Business Unit (in particular financial related issues).
    • Assist end users with ERP reports/data/table information etc, available from tables in the ERP.
    • Provide clear problem definition and liaise with necessary technical experts/ external consultants to resolve technical ERP related issues.
    • Work in conjunction with learning team and super users to deliver and where required conduct end user training on existing and new.
    • System Functionality:
    • Conduct user acceptance testing in conjunction with the Information Technology department and business (super users).
    • Create and maintain user training manuals and standard operating procedures in conjunction with the business (super users) and learning team.
    • Conduct user assessments with the business users following training or as required.
    • Analyse reports on user knowledge and skills gaps provided by the learning to identify training needs.
    • Work in conjunction with the learning department to roll out ongoing end-user training as required.

    System Opportunity Identification:

    • Support the Commercial Manager, Application Manager, and the Business in identifying IT application solutions to address key business requirements.
    • Quantify savings and efficiencies related to these opportunities and draw up Business Case documentation for submission to the Commercial Manager.
    • Projects Application Development, Enhancement and Implementation:
    • Serve as a liaison between the Business and the Information Technology department / external consultants to ensure the implementation of identified system enhancements.
    • Meet with relevant Business representatives to establish, understand and document detailed business requirements to be met by the project.
    • Compile and agree on a scope definition document and ensure full sign off is achieved prior to implementation.
    • Compile and store project documentation (including business process flow charts, end-user training materials, standard operating procedures and change controls).
    • Ensure constant communication with developers and full testing of the solution to identify and resolve problems and constraints prior to Business user acceptance testing.
    • Work in conjunction and communicate with the Business to implement the solution.
    • Provide post-implementation support to all end users (in particular financial support).
