    Analyst: Condition Monitoring - Pongola

    Job Description    

    • RCL FOODS is searching for an Analyst: Condition Monitoring to join our Sugar Team based in Pongola. The primary objective of this position is to control and manage the condition-based monitoring system.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Trade test certificate (Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaking, Electrical or Instrumentation), with a minimum of N3 certificate and proof of successful completion of institutionalised apprenticeship programme.
    • CAT 1 (Vibration Analysis: Category I) and CAT 2 (Vibration Analysis: Category II) certificates are essential for this role.
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a condition-based monitoring environment.
    • Knowledge of heavy engineering high speed rotating equipment and computer based planned maintenance is essential.

    Workshop Assistant - Thohoyandou

    Job Description

    Distribution Administrator - Pietermaritzburg

    Job Description    

    • RCL Foods is recruiting for a driven, highly energized, distribution and people orientated Distribution Administrator within the baking business unit.
    • The suitable candidate will be required to support the Operations and Fleet Supervisor in the administrative functions related to Logistics.
    • This role will be based in Pietermaritzburg and reporting to the Regional Operations & Procurement Manager.

    Minimum Requirements    
    Education

    • Grade 12

    Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
    Skills

    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Office

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Logistics

    Oversee work of office clerk ensuring the following is done daily:

    • Pulls speeding reports per vehicle and alerts Fleet Supervisor if any excessive deviations from policy.
    • Completes daily kilometer report which includes all route information such as vehicle registration, driver on route, time in and out, mileage, crates etc.
    • Records fuel usage and reconcile fuel bowser on site.
    • Obtains dip reading from the pump attendant daily.
    • Writes out fuel slips for vehicles the next day.
    • Reconcile Gate Security sheet against dispatch loading sheet and report and report any discrepancies to Fleet Supervisor.
    • Compile the truck wash record for review by Fleet Supervisor.

    Camera audits

    • Reviews camera footage where there are discrepancies in auditor’s report.
    • Report findings to Operations Manager.
    • Review camera footage for other departments on management request.

    General

    • Assist Operations Manager with administrative tasks such as managing the calendar, printing documents, filing etc.
    • Completes any other work allocated by the Operations Manager and Fleet Supervisor from time to time.

    Fixed Assets Clerk (Shared Services) - Westville

    • The Fixed Assets Clerk will have the responsibility to maintain accurate, reliable records within SAP fixed asset registers and control the fixed assets additions and disposals for RCL FOODS.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting
    • Knowledge of IFRS would be advantageous
    • Experience with handling insurance claims and/or working in a financial environment would be advantageous.
    • MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) competence is essential.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Fixed Asset Life Cycle Administration

    • Capture details into investment orders for release by the Fixed Asset Accountant.
    • Capitalise and capture completed projects / assets once checked and authorised by the Fixed Asset Accountant.
    • Retire sold/redundant assets once checked and authorised by the Fixed Asset Accountant.
    • Post intra-company transfers based on authorised documentation.

    Asset Verification

    • Print and distribute fixed asset reports for physical verification of the Group’s fixed assets by operations.
    • Ensure signed, authorised physical verifications are received back from all relevant operations.
    • Follow up on documentation required to action amendments resulting from the physical verification.

    Reporting Administration

    • Assist the Fixed Asset Accountant with compilation of information for any fixed asset reports required.

    General Administration

    • File and safeguard records within area of responsibility.
    • Compile ad hoc spreadsheets and analysis when required.

    Information and Data management

    • Capture data accurately and regularly onto SAP to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making.

    Governance Risk & Control Controller: Vector Logistics - Westville

    Job Description    

    • An exciting opportunity exists for a GRC Controller within Vector Logistics.     Duties & Responsibilities    
    Governance Risk and compliance (GRC)

    • Owner of the Governance Risk & Compliance systems application.
    • Applying the Business requirements of the Group to configuring the GRC application.
    • Identify potential risk to the business for user access (segregation of duties) and business role development.
    • Assessing, recommending and configuring financial and operational controls around all SAP and other ERP applications. 
    • Preparing and constructing blueprints from best practices for security of systems to reduce risk exposure

    User Access

    • Administer and manage user provisioning and authorisations across the SAP and other ERP technology platforms and key IT Systems.
    • Implement and document measures to safeguard the SAP and other ERP operating environments against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure. 
    • Act as both SAP and other ERP systems Security, providing troubleshooting and problem resolution while supporting the active user environment.
    • Custodian of Developer Keys in the SAP environment.
    • Business Role and User Management 
    • Develop, configure, and administer system Security components for all SAP and other ERP applications for the Group.
    • Manage security administration, role design, and compliance for SAP and other ERP systems and other applications within the group.
    • Redesign roles for remediation and advise on technical changes.
    • Design, develop & document mitigations controls for business roles that have risk.

    Additional Activities 

    • Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the group for reducing risk exposed through user access & business role development.
    • Support the business and technical IT with 24 hour 7 days a week technical access support to ERP and other applications. 
    • Support Internal Audit with sensitive transaction and access analysis

     Policy and Procedure Compliance

    • Technical design, development, testing, implementation, support, and documentation of system security around user access, business role management and risks within a SAP environment and other ERP systems. 
    • Work with various business and technical teams to build and maintain system security, participate in problem-solving, monitoring/resolving of technical incidents, researching and implementing best practice methods for role building, user access. 
    • Provide guidance and direction to other team members and ensure the technical competency of the team is maintained.

    Reporting

    • Provide reports, information and technical insight to business managers as and when required.
    • Provide advisory services to other business entities that fall into the Rainbow Foods group.
    • Provide information for monthly key performance indicators.

    Team Coordination

    •  Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritising and self-development
    • Responsible for the development and administration of user access rights on computer systems running SAP software and other ERP systems, advanced SAP software knowledge and a full understanding of security roles as they relate to SAP user profiles and other ERP systems, coaching staff on the understanding of security roles and SAP and other ERP systems software
