    In country finance – Finance business partner for IFS

    Purpose of Job

    • To provide administrative support to the In Country Finance Lead report financial results to budget holders of  internal firm services (IFS). To resolve queries and provide support to the IFS budget holders during the budget and forecasting cycles and assist with the posting of any adjustment required by the budget holders. To assist with the monthly closing cycle for finance.

    Role Description
    Responsibilities:     

    • Budgeting process and forecast cycles
    • Notify budget holders of  budget and forecast guidelines and timelines for their completion.
    • Assist budget holders with their queries during the completion budgets and forecast on the Oracle Budgeting tool.. 
    • Follow up on status of budgets, forecast completed on the Oracle budgeting tool as well as answer any budget tool question.

    Monthly reporting cycle

    • Roll forward of balance sheet General ledger account reconciliations.
    • Distribution of preliminary and final General ledger extract to budget holders.
    • Distribution of operating statements to budget holders.
    • Prepare and process journals as required by budget holders.
    • Collate the commentary received on the budget vs actual analysis received from IFS budget holders.  
    • Send out the missing timesheet reports to IFS cost centres.
    • Raise intercompany invoices for inter-entity cost recovery.
    • Assist with the external audit as may be required.
    • Ad hoc Finance function related tasks, projects and queries.

    Competencies and Attributes
    Knowledge, skills and abilities

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent computer literacy skills, including MS Office or Google applications skills.
    • Ability to liaise and widely communicate (written and verbal) with internal, external stakeholders and PwC network contacts.

    Qualification & Experience 
     
    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial accounting in a professional services environment. of Advanced certificate and/or Diploma in accounting is required. 
    • A degree or Hons in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline is advantageous.

    Forensics Technology Consultant

    Main purpose of the role

    •  Support internal investigation teams and clients with digital forensics investigations;
    •  Assist with ensuring that the procedures set out are adhered to on engagements;
    •  Follow guidance from managers on engagements;
    •  Become familiar with digital forensics engagements and be able to execute steps under the guidance of seniors.

    Key Performance Areas

    •  Have a strong technical background;
    •  Develop and upskill on digital forensics techniques;
    •  Drafting proposals/quotations;
    •  Become familiar with risk management processes;
    •  Assist with drafting internal and external reports; and
    •  Provide support to seniors and managers on engagements.

    Qualifications

    •  B.Tech, BsC Computer Science, Bcom IT or other relevant qualifications.
    •  Industry recognised certifications (EnCE, SANS etc) would be advantageous.

    Experience

    •  1 to 3 years experience;
    •  Technical experience would be advantageous;
    •  Cybersecurity experience would be an advantage; and
    •  Consulting experience would be advantageous.
