    Inventory Analyst

    Responsibilities

    What we’re looking for:

    • The system specialist is a functional specialist with system expertise that support, analyse and resolve system related issues stemming from operational items. The resource will do daily monitoring of i-docs (interfases) across systems to ensure inventory(risk) accuracy and financial alignment with SAP systems between SAP, NEwspage, JDA WMS and Stratopod.
    • The role will be required to monitor, review and correct system SOD controls (Segregation of Authority) to ensure Key Control 305 is met and adhered to across all systems
    • The role will be responsible as support for any system version upgrades, training and super user base knowledge and respository of training materials
    • The role will manage the required role authorisations and new role assignments working closely with BXC as service provider
    • The role will be a central query management and more importantly drive system enhancements translated to operational efficiencies - for instance running zoning and slotting to enable identification of productivity initiates through better warehouse layouts and shorter travel time.
    • The role must problem solve operational issues and enable system knowledge to find solutions to resolve operational issues
    • Build operational reporting capability to monitor daily inventory controls and adherence to Inventory Control Policy.
    • Ensure ABC Analysis for sites is run at predetermined intervals and ensure system compliance.
    • Adhoc masterdata verification to ensure data entigrity.
    • KPI reporting developed and communicated

    Qualifications

    • Five to Six years relevant experience within the FMCG  environment
    • Technical Trade or NTC.
    • Red Seal Electrician Certificate, will be an advantage

    Assistant Business Analyst FTC

    Responsibilities

    • Assist to creates all requests on behalf of the business and confirm the necessary approvals before creating the request.
    • Assist user mitigation for sensitive access.
    • New user requests are for all SAP systems. SAP PRD, GRC, EWM and BI.
    • User authorization requests for the addition of a specific function.
    • Authorization changes when transfers are made.
    • Authorization maintenance to update or remove roles as processes change or become obsolete.
    • Trouble shooting when there is an authorization issue.

    Fitter - Durban Mill

    Responsibilities

    Conducts diagnosis of equipment failures

    • Works with and through technicians and other employees to establish mechanical and equipment performance before breakdowns were reported
    • Establishes whether the equipment breakdown is related to a missed planned maintenance or part failure or human interference
    • Uses any of the problem (finding and) solving techniques like 5-Whys, RCA, decision trees etc to pin point the real problem behind failures/breakdowns
    • Completes job card in consultation with the maintenance planner and requisitions a part or modifies mechanical parts depending on the outcome of the above

    Conducts preventative maintenance

    • Performs defined and/or ad hoc condition monitoring on mechanical equipment
    • Completes documentation relating to work done for future reference in the event of failures
    • May replace parts in the event of noted probable failures to ensure continuous equipment running
    • Continuous reference to equipment drawings, engineering standards and GMPs in the performance and closing out of jobs done.

    Planned Maintenance

    • Ensures that scheduled maintenance in terms of Engineering plans is conducted as prescribed following defined protocols and compliance to GMPs
    • Ensures that machined spares are available as and when required and shall schedule time to execute this one
    • Completes job cards and parts requisition documents timeously to improve on mean time to repair thus ensuring high plant availability

    Plant Breakdowns

    • Attends to all mechanical plant breakdowns following or informed by diagnosis conducted under point 1 above
    • In the event of mechanical modifications, follows defined procedures in updating relavant documention and equipment records
    • Proactively escalates equipment problems to ensure minimal time stoppages
    • Maintains IPS standards on the respective lines
    • Clearly dermacates workstation in accordance with procedures in the event of major work to minimise disruptions and possible injuries as a result of human traffic and area being used as thoroughfare
    • Adhers to AIB and relevant food safety programes and environmental protocols
    • Completes documentation of work done and close out on ad hoc call outs
    • Updates parts/spares records in conjuction with the stores (OEM, machined and generic spares/parts)
    • Monitors equipment performance after attending to and fixing problems

    Qualifications

    • Qualified Trade Tested Fitter
    • Min N3 Engineering qualification
    • Min 3 years post trade test experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Good mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding skills
    • Ability to prepare and read mechanical schematics
    • Ability to carry out basic welding, machining and drilling
    • Working knowledge of lifting equipment e.g chain blocks, hydraulic jack
    • Fully conversant with Environmental, Health and Safety Standards
    • Responsible for Technical Assets
    • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software (SAP preferably)
