    Driver: Light Duty | Europcar | East London Airport

    Position Overview    

    • The purpose of this position is deliver efficient, friendly customer service; and to ensure that every renter receives a vehicle on time, that meets our quality and safety standards.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    
    Job Outputs: 

    • Cleaning of vehicle interior and exterior to our high standards.
    • Vehicle quality control, including identification and reporting of expired license vehicles and any other issue that does not conform to our quality standards.
    • Refueling vehicles, checking tyre pressure and oil/water/other fluids after every rental.
    • Delivering vehicles to customers in accordance with our procedures.
    • Handling vehicle check-ins in accordance with company, quality control and claims procedures.
    • Maintaining cleanliness of yard and other surrounding areas.
    • Maintaining the integrity of the company by behaving ethically and safeguarding the assets and interests of both the business and our customers.
    • Other duties on request.

    Qualifications and Experience    
    Minimum Experience:

    • 2 years relevant driving experience

    Minimum Qualification:

    • NQF Level 4(Grade 12 or equivalent)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old)
    • Computer literate (basic level will suffice)
    • Able to read a map.
    • Essential to Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime/shifts/weekends when required.

    Senior IT Internal Auditor

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Ensure Group Internal Audit Annual Plan addresses key risks
    • To plan, execute, and report on the approved audit plans for relatively more complex audits as per the MIA methodology and charter.
    • Day-to-day management of and tracking of audits as per the week by week.
    • To conduct research and provide input on the related audit and audit procedures.
    • To complete and validate the process description/ flowcharts. To identify the risks and the related key controls.
    • To compile an audit programme in executing the key controls identified.

    Job Description    

    • The Administrator: Bookings is responsible for the way customers and visitors experience support. They are the first point of contact for customer support, customer enthusiasm and customer loyalty and represents the brand.
    • The Administrator: Bookings is the competent contact person for customers and visitors, supports and relieves the Service Advisor to ensure efficient customer support, and executing the correct processes right from the start.

    Position Overview

    Specific Role Responsibilities    
    Operational:

    • Responsible for scheduling service and repair workshop appointments (workshop planning, collect-and-deliver service); accepting orders.
    • Talking to customers on the phone re scheduling of required services and or postponements.
    • Ensure maximum hours are loaded for the workshop per day system.
    • Calculate technicians' hours booked hours sold and report excessive lost hours to Technician and Manager by keeping record of workshop staff on leave, sick and on training.
    • Prepare job cards timeously and correctly and ensure customer data is updated and correct on operating system.
    • Use drive  operating system to update customer details, check for campaigns.
    • Ensure that parts orders are captures on Resolve operating system.
    • Offer pre-diagnoses to customer, i.e., Rattles, intermittent faults, squeaks, gearbox and air-con  repairs.

    Customer focus:

    • Receiving, greeting and assisting visitors/customers. Answering phone line within 3 ring.
    • Identifying customer requests, in particular the extent of work required, scheduling, customer mobility, additional work with the aim of professionally scheduling appointments and creating the basis for optimum order processing.
    • Inquiring about the reason for the customer’s visit with the aim of identifying the specific need and providing suitable assistance. Asking for the following information: personal data, availability, current vehicle, current concern, desired service complaint.
    • Ensure customer service (newspapers, music, videos, coffee, etc.) in clean and neat service reception area.
    • Observing operations relevant to the customer with the aim of better handling customer requests without compromising reliability and deadlines.
    • The booking clerk has the necessary role of conveying information that promotes communication and information between customers, the service area and the sales area. This requires accurately assimilating and imparting information.
    • Accepting customer complaints amicably and forwarding them to the appropriate person.

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
    • Basic technical understanding (essential).
    • Additional language would be an advantage
    • 5 years’ experience as a booking clerk with the Audi / VW brand.

    Specialist: Technician | Europcar | Cape Town Depot

    Position Overview    

    • The purpose of the position is to perform maintenance to vehicles in order to ensure a fleet of vehicles which are available, reliable and safe to operate.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Perform maintenance and repairs to vehicles on fleet across a diversity of different brands.
    • Diagnose and inspect for defects or required repairs.
    • Carry out scheduled services and maintenance as necessary and planned work as required.
    • Supervise others involved in maintenance tasks where a team effort is required to complete a task.
    • Advise the workshop manager of any major repairs or replacements to the vehicles.
    • Perform admin duties relevant to the role.
    • Maintain inventory control by completing necessary admin for booking out parts and adhering to process in place for this.
    • Maintain lube controls.
    • Complete reports to report problems and work performed.
    • Maintain safe and clean working conditions.

    Qualifications and Experience    
    Minimum Experience:

    • 4 years workshop experience (if unqualified).

    OR

    • 1 years experience as qualified workshop Technician.

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Grade 12/ Senior Certificate

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Qualified trade Technician/ Tertiary education relevant to national motor trade.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Basic computer skills – essential.
    • An unendorsed drivers’ license – essential.
    • Technical competence across diverse brands – an advantage.

    Note:

    • The role is shift-based and also includes weekends as per a rotational roster, allowing for 4 consecutive days off over a 3-4 week period (rough estimate).
