    Head of Operations

    The successful candidate will have experience managing diverse teams with varying capabilities in a fast-paced, technical production environment.

    • Specifically, the Head of Operations will be required to:
    • Implement and maintain where necessary a best-in-class manufacturing and production operation.
    • Draw on relationships with department heads, business partners and suppliers to make decisions regarding operational activities and goals.
    • Ensure the effective implementation of the company procurement strategy to support a manufacture to order and just in time business model.
    • Ensure effective stock control throughout receiving, movement, dispatch and storing of inventory.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for operational issues working cross functionally to mitigate their impact on delivering on time and in full, including system, quality, procurement & maintenance issues.
    • Lead and contribute to operations projects identification, development, and implementation.
    • Identify performance improvement opportunities with their teams.
    • Ensure compliance of all operations departments with company policies relating to health & safety and the quality management system.

    The ideal candidate will have a degree in commerce or similar from a leading university; at least 10 years’ experience in a packaging/production management role in a FMCG environment; exceptional organisational & leadership skills.

    Filling Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Master the filling operation and provide expert engineering support.
    • Provide technical expertise and input the factory maintenance function.
    • Maintain accurate records, drawings and technical files for relevant plant and equipment.
    • Develop and implement procedures, protocols, and training to uplift expertise across departments.
    • Manage financial and contractual aspects of projects and engage with stakeholders effectively.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering (BEng or BSc, non negotiable)
    • Minimum 5 years' project engineering in manufacturing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical or personal care industries.
    • Extensive technical understanding of high speed packaging lines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must have.
    • Complex problem solver for all relevant processes.
