    ZAF-H4EP Technician, Robotics

    POSITION DETAILS

    • To maintain the facility by completing all scheduled /planned Maintenance – 100% completion
    •  To identify all corrective maintenance activities and have a proactive approach – 100% completion
    •  Manage/ effective approach to Emergency Maintenance downtime
    •  Effective Root Cause Analysis towards downtime
    •  Responsible approach to all Safety Standard Regulations
    • Total Maintenance of all TCF( Trim, Chassis and Final Line) equipment, fault finding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled circuits and the modifications thereof
    • Focus on constraint area’s to eliminate constraint
    • Ensure Production uptime within departmental objectives.
    • Ensure safety compliance at all times
    • PM, CM scrubbing
    • 4D reporting on MFM
    • Assist Artisans with problem solving and repairs of problematic equipment in his related field
    • Modifications to PLC software circuits, Siemens PLC's are used in the TCF department
    • Assist Project work related to new equipment introduction/ commissioning

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)

    • Fault finding ability
    • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Excel compitancy
    • Siemens PLC fault finding and programming skill.
    • Kawasaki Robot fault finding and programming skill.
    • HMI –fault finding and programming skill.
    • SEW Frequency Drive fault finding and programming skill.
    • Fault finding skill and knowledge on filling machines (Optional)
    • Sealer application and fault-finding thereof
    • Behavioral Skill

     QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

    • N6 Plus Electrical / Mechanical / Milwright Trade Certificate and or Equivalent  (Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrail and Mechanical) National diploma
    • 5 yrs. Automotive Manufacturing Experience
    • Programming and Fault Finding experience in Siemens PLC’s, SEW Drives, Kawasaki Robots.TIA Pro 1 / Pro 2 Certificates

    Systems And Dimensional Engineer

    POSITION DETAILS

    • Apply engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products
    • Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D, 6 panel tools etc.
    • Manage and direct statistical process control activities
    •  Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis
    • Identify sources of variation within a production environmen effectively and efficiently
    • Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions
    • Establish and monitor quality target levels for each build
    • Provide input for design and assembly concepts which will yield nominal variations
    • Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods
    • Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements
    • Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers
    • Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility
    • Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area
    • Must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions

    PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA

    • Improve part and assemble quality from data analysis
    •  Drive improvement of overall assembly quality with the aim to achieve nominal assembly specification.
    • Ensure fixture integrity and measurement are achieved efficiently and
      timeously
    • Drive incoming quality and ensure part integrity are monitored to identify abnormalities
    • Improve process capability and eliminate variation from the manufacturing process to ensure a stable a capable part and process

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)

    • Use company and industry standard processes and tools to plan,
      design, manage, and utilize gauges for measurement of components
      and assemblies.
    • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance principles.
    •  Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend responses
    • Ensure gauge calibration; certification; and repeatability and reproducibility
    • Determine locators and measuring points
    • Verify tolerance/engineering specifications
    • Develop dimensional/product/process controls plans
    • Define and conduct machine process capability analyses

    ZAF-H-WD Technician, Training

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Conduct training needs analysis for each manufacturing plant skill stream including new launch programs. Involve all stakeholder affected by the program. Develop outcomes-based training courses and programmes
    • Develop training material (training plans, trainer guides, learner guides, assessment documents)
    • Conduct practical and theoretical training for manufacturing (Assembly Operators, Repairman, Learnership, Skills Programmes)
    • Assess employees for competence (RPL, pre-employment and on skills competency by per stream)
    • Evaluate training impact on the business
    • Develop a training plan & schedules of Production Learners (for Learnership programs) to support manufacturing with skilled assembly learners.
    • Determine new facility and equipment that is installed as the result of the plant changes and develop schedules to train in the operations of the equipment.
    • Develop LPWR training schedule for the new model launch
    • Develop training templates for tracking launch related training
    • Track, compile, monitor and report on all LPWR training interventions to all stakeholders e.g. (Launch engineers, PSG’s, Technical training & Launch Office)
    • Plan and prepare for both static & dynamic training and facilitate delivery of training for new model launch
    • Develop training programmes that address lack of skill of production team members 
    • Initiate process improvement and implement the innovative improvements
    • Adhere to SAFETY and ISO 9000 quality requirements
    • Maintenance and record keeping of tools, machinery and training venues
    • Ensure availability of training materials at all times
    • Complete any reasonable tasks inline with technical training centre as instructed by training associate
