    Sales Manager: Funeral Cover

    Key Purpose

    • Accountability and leadership of the Discovery Funeral Sales Team.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:

    • Lead and manage a Funeral Cover sales channel consisting of financial advisors.
    • Achievement of sales and quality targets.
    • Ensuring a professional level of interactions with intermediaries and HR contacts.
    • Inductions and leads management, ensuring that campaigns and leads are correctly managed
    • Ongoing liaison and relationship building with various stakeholders.
    • MIS Reporting, create and maintain reporting
    • Business processes and operational improvement
    • Promote a positive and proactive approach to compliance and risk,
    • Ability to proactively manage change.
    • To work as a team player within a team environment, participating willingly and providing support and guidance to colleagues at all times

    KI responsibilities may include but not limited to

    • A KI is responsible for management and oversight of the FSPs activities relating to rendering of financial services, which includes advice and/or intermediary services.
    • must monitor that the statutory obligation of the FSP are complied with.
    • must comply with the fit and proper requirements (COB, RE, Qualification, PST and CPD).
    • Ensure that representatives are compliant with the fit and proper requirements.
    • Representatives complete all required training for their role.
    • Review the advice rendered by the representative.
    • Monitor on an ongoing basis that the representatives are treating customers fairly.
    • Monitor representatives under supervision:
    • To ensure that all the required fit and proper requirements are complied with (Qualification and PST), where monitoring of representatives under supervision is delegated, the following should be done: record the process of delegation and the reporting frequency monitoring done.
    • Instil a culture of treating customers fairly in all aspects of the business.
    • Ensure that there are business processes and operational ability.

    Marketing Leads Consultant

    Job Description

    • The Marketing Leads Consultant is expected to be dynamic, motivated and solutions driven person, supporting the leads generation initiatives for Discovery Connect. The successful consultant has the ability to be flexible, adaptable and as the ability to build relationships within and outside of Discovery , with the aim to grow D2C interest in the  Discovery product range and generate quality leads.
    • The consultant is expected to support leads opportunities for Discovery Connect through an on-going opimisation of existing processes, investigate new leads ideas, have the ability to drive lead generation campaigns with third parties (e.g. radio stations and retailers), and work together with the digital team on leads generation opportunities across all Discovery products.

    Key Outputs

    The successful individual will be required to perform on, but not limited to the following key outputs:

    • Collaborate with the product-specific marketing teams to coordinate lead generations  initiatives
    • Work together with Discovery staff to resolve queries and escalations
    • Communicate with lead suppliers and drive optimisation of leads quality
    • Investigate and drive new leads generation initatives
    • Compile leads generation reports for management and billing
    • Monitor leads generated on a daily and weekly basis
    • Keep up-to-date with competitor product and service offerings and industry developments
    • Has the ability to validate the technical solution against business requirements for leads generation.

    ASP.NET developer

    Key Purpose

    • We are seeking a developer responsible for building applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Main area of responsibility will be on the SmartTrack application. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
    • Integrate data storage solutions
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
