    HR Coordinator

    Diplomat South Africa is looking for dynamic and energetic individual to fill the role of an HR Coordinator based in Cape Town, Western Cape. The position will report to the National HR Business Partner.

    Key Responsibilities

    To administer all HR processes, policies and procedures. This role is responsible for accurate data capturing and recordkeeping of all HR transactions on all relevant systems.
    Critical to this role is the administrative support it provides to the HR Managers and Business Partners. This enables professional delivery and contributes to HR being a value add partner in the business.

    • Execute HR administrative duties cost effectively.
    • Contribute to the cost savings target of the company.
    • Continuously explore alternatives to improve the HR service delivery.
    • Be the first point of contact for all employee and Line Manager queries.
    • Escalate queries to relevant HR professional if not able to resolve.
    • Accurately record and follow up on queries until finally closed out.
    • Assist with execution of HR processes, e.g. recruitment, training schedules, events, minutes of meetings, etc.
    • Regional recruitment i.e. interviews coordination, screening, shortlisting providing up-dates & opportunities.
    • Arranging and executing of employee engagement initiatives.
    • Maintain all staff records and files.
    • Facilitate the on-boarding process of new employees.
    • Administer all relevant HR documentation.
    • Collate data for submission of annual report to the Department of labour, SETA, etc.
    • Understanding of the BCEA and LRA.
    • Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners, to enable the professional de-livery of HR.
    • Knowledge of DSA policies.
    • Capture all transactions on the HRIS and weekly updating of the HR Dashboard.
    • Process and control documentation before submitting to payroll.
    • Keep an effective filing system.
    • Assist and ensure HR filing systems are compliant with audit requirements.
    • Take responsibility for self-development through self-study, identification of learning opportunities.

    Position Requirements

    • Relevant HR Degree/Diploma.
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in an HR Coordinator role within the FMCG, retail or similar sector.
    • SAP HR experience of more than 2 years.
    • Intermediate MS office and relevant HR systems knowledge.
    • High level of confidentiality.
    • Knowledge of IR process and consultation.
    • Knowledge of employee engagement management.
    • Provident fund and Medical aid administration experience essential.
    • Ability to work overtime as and when required.
    • Planning and organising skills with high level of attention to detail skills.
    • Must be based in Cape Town.
    • Own vehicle with a valid driver's license.

    Sales Representative (HFS) - Klerksdrop

    Job Purpose
    The purpose of the role is to implement the Tier 3, Sub-D / Main Market strategy at retail level. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure targeted Coverage, Sales, Distribution and Retail Presence Objectives are met. The channel is a must win channel and of strategic importance to the Company and its principals.

    • Consistent development and updating of the Retail Outlet Universe Data base.

    Key Accounts Manager

    Job Objective:

    • Accountability to drive the customer strategy for a key national customer, driv-ing and executing business growth plans as set by the Sales Leadership Team. Playing a key role in the Sales team, oversee the achievement of customer and channel plan.
    • Oversee sales forecasts and sales strategy, proposing and directing the execu-tion of programs to maximize sales volume potential to achieve Plan.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct budget management for the allocated accounts and obtain sign off for the plan.
    • Conduct Strategic planning for the allocated accounts in order to enable and facilitate sales.
    • Conduct effective and accurate forecasting and planning to ensure on time product delivery.
    • Conduct market analysis and share information to inform business deci-sions.
    • Contribute to the cost savings target of the business.
    • Develop and manage customer relationship with buyers; contribute to cus-tomer strategy ensuring local Diplomat business objectives are achieved.
    • Negotiate space in stores and structure deals for strategic customers.
    • Develop and communicate the promotional plan, to align with the overall vendor promotion plan. Identify gaps and follow up with the vendor to close out.
    • Conduct analysis of customer and sales metrics, costs and categories to inform business decisions.
    • Compile action plans to grow specific product categories.
    • Actively gain competitor knowledge to assist the development of customer competitive edge.
    • Ensure the effective management of the customer account and timeous prob-lem solving.
    • Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customer's busi-ness.
    • Address and resolve escalated issues from sales team for the allocated ac-counts.
    • Ensure sales metrics are captured and tracked per category to create trends and patterns. Utilise this to inform sales decisions.
    • Conduct planning and forecasting for allocated customers and their product categories.
    • Utilise and align internal business processes and systems to execute sales and ensure operational efficiency.
    • Regularly engage with vendor to plan and execute promotions.
    • Plan events for customers and involve sales representatives in execution pro-cess.

    Position Requirements

    • Completed B. Comm Degree in Marketing or equivalent preferred.
    • 5 - 7 years relevant Commercial experience (Key Accounts) in Traditional Trade within the FMCG environment.
    • Current working relationships within the Traditional Trade Channel dealing with the National and Regional Traditional Trade Buying Teams is required.
    • Advanced Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP etc.).
    • Budget Management and Administration experience.
    • High level of attention to detail skills.
    • Excellent planning & organizing skills.
    • High analytical ability with strong negotiation skills.
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Excellent presentation, communication & interpersonal skills.
    • Own vehicle with a valid driver's license.

    Truck Driver

    Key Responsibilities:-
    To ensure that the right order is delivered to the correct customer within the required delivery time frame. Also ensuring a high level of customer service, as well as the completion of all administration to ensure route closure.

    • Execute driver responsibilities cost effectively.
    • Contribute to the cost savings targets of the company through efficient and safe driving.
    • Build and maintain relationships with customers to deliver on service excel-lence targets through effective communication, professional conduct and attention to detail.
    • Conduct an inspection at point of delivery to ensure goods are not dam-aged and complies to prescribed standards.
    • Assist to resolve delivery disputes with customers to prevent return of goods.
    • Provide feedback to management on customer related incidents, queries, concerns etc.
    • Ensure cleanliness and good service record of vehicle at all times to ensure access to customer premises.
    • Follow route plans and ensure accurate record keeping of travel mileage and petrol slips.
    • Ensure vehicle is securely loaded and locked and sealed prior to departure.
    • Take responsibility for loading of vehicle, the goods in transit and any re-turns from the customer.
    • Complete daily vehicle check sheets, licensing, roadworthiness, and cleanli-ness.
    • Timeous submission of claims for processing.
    • Report any defects timeously to ensure a safe and road worthy vehicle at all times.
    • Conduct planning of deliveries to point of sale to ensure meeting deadlines during high peak times.
    • Collect relevant documentation and proof of delivery at every customer.
    • Accurately record activities on a daily basis to ensure reference and records at all times.
    • Take responsibility for self-development through self-study, identification of learning opportunities.


    Position Requirements:-

    • Completed Matric or equivalent accredited by SAQA OR equivalent work experience.
    • A valid Code 14 Drivers License with PDP.
    • 5 years' experience as a Code 14 Driver within the FMCG Industry.
    • Good knowledge of the Western Cape Region and Routes.
    • Ability to travel long distance with safe driving record.
    • Ability to read and understand specific vehicle operating manuals to ensure safe and appropriate operations of the vehicle.
    • Ability to start shifts from 06:00 am or earlier for Long distance routes as and when required.
    • Ability to work overtime as and when required.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
