    Therapy Manager - Cullinan

    To plan, organize and execute all Therapeutic Services work. The incumbent is accountable for the day-to-day and resources (financial and human capital) management of the department in accordance with health, quality and clinical standards and legislation.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Honors Degree in Psychology (counselling Psychologist).
    • Master’s Degree in psychology.
    • Relevant Clinical Degree.
    • Registered with Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
    • 3-5 years’ appropriate experience working in a Wellness Facility.
    • Knowledge and experience of implementing a Therapeutic Wellness Program.

    Nursing Optimisation Manager

    To plan, organise, execute and monitor all Clinical (Nursing) and Non-Clinical Agency work across the Group. The incumbent is accountable for establishing and driving Group wide initiatives aimed at increasing efficacies, minimising redundancies and increasing cost efficiencies for Agency Personnel.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Diploma or B.Cur Degree in General Nursing.
    • Post Graduate Degre in Nursing.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Implement, monitor and control financial and business processes for clinical and non-clinical agency staff across CHG hospitals according to quality standards, policy, compliance and governance requirements (the following non-clinical functions are included:, Billings Department and EMS).
    • Ensure the development, alignment and consistent implementation of agency resource plans and end-to-end standard operating procedures and processes.

    • Proactively monitor staffing patterns and acuities in accordance with the correct staffing ratios to maintain quality of care.
    • In collaboration with the Group Nursing Services Manager and Nursing Services Managers in hospitals, develop and contribute to the annual agency staffing budget and recruitment plan for agency staff.
    • Develop and drive agency staff recruitment process, which includes selection, finalization, induction and orientation.
    • Review all incident reports relating to area of assignment, recommend additional follow up/ escalation as appropriate, tracking of trends and recommend initiatives for change.
    • Establish parameters for Nursing flexible resources and ensure the implementation thereof (across all hospitals).
    • Collaborate with NSMs and Unit managers in ensuring the monitoring of performance for Agency staff.
    • Provide input into recruitment and selection processes across the board in order to source and select the appropriate caliber and number of candidates which will meet the business requirements.
    • Develop a Group-wide recruitment, onboarding and performance plan for agency staff and train relevant managers in hospital facilities on effectively using the plan.
    • Monitors adherence to recruitment plan and evaluates effectiveness thereof against financial parameters.
    • Establish frameworks for conducting performance reviews for agency staff.
    • Identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional competencies and knowledge.
    • Execute department strategy and operational plans and manage the department’s annual budget, to meet set objectives and performance targets.
    • Prepare hospital/ service statistics, analyse data to identify issues/ trends and recommend appropriate strategies.
    • Drive branding and advertisement of CHG Nursing Pool Agency.
    • Provide consistent, high-quality advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
    • Analyse trends, anticipate issues and ensure contingency plans are in place; proactively recommend solutions to identified risks.
    • Provide advice (and where necessary draft relevant documentation) regarding CHG Standards, Policies and SOPs.
