    Occupational Medical Practitioner

    Job Summary:

    The incumbent facilitates and provides Occupational Health Services, Quality Improvement and Risk Management on behalf of Clinix Health Group to Foskor Mine (Phalaborwa Site) and to Clinix Health Group’s employees that are deployed to Foskor Mine Occupational Health Clinic.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • MBCHB Bachelor of Medicine
    • Post-Graduate qualification in Occupational Health/Medicine (DOMH)
    • Dispensing License and Registered with HPCSA as an Occupational Medical Practitioner
    • 5 years’ experience in an Occupational Health environment. Experience in Mine Occupational Health is an advantage.

    Main Job Requirements: 

    • Carrying out plant walkabouts and generating reports of all findings.
    • Assisting with employee referrals and compiling medical reports for FOSKOR on behalf of Clinix Health Group.
    • Attending relevant stakeholder meetings including assisting with internal and external audits.
    • Assisting with investigations of occupational health incidents, conducting occupational risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and attending to the certification of medical assessments of Foskor employees and contractors.
    • Responding to emergency calls, providing expert advice, contributing to the provision of training, advice, health surveillance, vaccinations, sickness absence management and making recommendations on occupational health related interventions and programs and other general OH issues.
    • Providing expert advice on new regulations and aligning processes with Foskor protocols.
    • Providing advisory support on quality improvement initiatives and process flows.
    • Responsible for performing all duties and functions expected of an Employer in terms of Section 37(2) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993.
    • Plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and audit the delivery of OH services provided to Clinix Health Services to ensure high quality service and to improve and promote best practice in OH.

    Unit Manager-Theatre

    Job Summary:

    To take responsibility for efficiently leading all activities within the Unit, providing leadership and direction to all staff, and promoting quality patient care and patient experience through operational excellence whilst maintain the highest standards of professionalism and respect.     Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    Registered Nurse - Surgical Ward X2

    Job Summary:

    Maintenance Assistant - Sebokeng

    Job Summary:

    To take responsibility for carrying out the day-to-day maintenance jobs (either planned or preventative) and to respond to emergency maintenance situations on all equipment, facilities or buildings. In addition, the incumbent will assist the Maintenance Technician or specialist Artisan with various maintenance requirements for the hospital.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    Enrolled Nurse- Theatre (Mafikeng)

    Job Summary:

    As Enrolled Nurse, to take responsibility for both direct and indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients, and to function under the direct and/ or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, according to the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.

    Security Control Room Operator X6

    To receive, coordinate and oversee all security control room operations, including the analysis and monitoring of outsourced functions.

     Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Operate and monitor all surveillance systems within the central Security Control Room in an efficient manner and in compliance with standard operating procedures, legislation and best practice.
    • Adhere to established protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures to maintain high levels of security, confidentiality, and compliance.
    • Monitor CCTV live feed and report any unusual activity to the Head of Security, the contracted security company and Hospital Management.
    • Accurately and diligently screen and analyse alerts and determine those that require further investigation by the onsite security teams.
    • Ensure proper reporting of exception reports to the Head of Security for detailed root cause analysis.
    • Maintain continuous communication with the contracted security company control room.
    • Ensure deep understanding of differing levels of escalation within law enforcement agencies in the event of a security breach (i.e., SAPS, Fire Department, Water and Sanitation Department, Emergency Medical Services).
    • Where required coordinate with relevant emergency response personnel.
    • Systemic and proactive viewing of CCTV cameras for early detection of anomalies for flagging to relevant Hospital Management.
    • Ensure all control room equipment is fully functioning and that video footage is recorded and archived according to CHG security standards.
    • Ensure that third party access to CCTV footage is authorised by the Head of Security.
    • Ensure that recordable CCTV footage is only provided to third parties authorised by the Head of Security.
    • Report equipment failure to Head of Security for maintenance or repairing.
    • Maintain a secure system for providing CCTV footage in accordance with relevant regulations.
    • Ensure accurate incident reporting by documenting alarm events, time taken to respond by outsourced security services and accuracy of response by security personnel.
    • Ensure that access to the Security Control Room is limited to authorised parties permitted by the Head of Security.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12 with additional CCTV or Security certification.
    • PSIRA Grade A qualification.
    • 2 years’ experience in a similar environment.
