    Dispatch Controller

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Allocate cages and prepare invoices, and stock by delivery stop sequence
    • Control drivers and VAs, vehicles, diesel cards, keys, trolleys, Daily Route Manager handsets.
    • Control returns and allocate redeliveries.
    • Arrange drivers and crews as per DC Requirement
    • Report and escalate issues to the Transport Manager
    • Ensure all vehicles are dispatched at Roadshow planned times
    • Ensure the vacuum system is applied at all time in the dispatch cages
    • Ensure stock is accounted for and secure in the dispatch area
    • Ensure security checks all stock in cages
    • Complete daily reports
    • Prepare courier orders for collection
    • Issue collection orders to customers
    • Assist in checking exports
    • Assist in wrapping pallets once checked
    • Assist in housekeeping

    Assist with security and transport requirements, by:

    • Following SOP’s for loading of vehicles
    • Assist breathalyzing of transport staff
    • Follow company rules and regulations
    • Ensuring safety of stock in dispatch area by ensuring risk minimizing processes are adhered to
    • Follow all reasonable operation instructions
    • Adhering to SHEQ policies and procedures

    Knowledge Required:

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • National Senior certificate (Matric) Grade 12, none negotiable
    • Post Matric qualifications in transport/logistics/warehousing/inventory/supply chain advantageous
    • 3+ years in a similar role 
    • Valid Code 10 driver’s license
    • Security Grade A certification (Preferable)

    Other requirements:

    • Able to work overtime when operations require it
    • Ability to work well under pressure

    Call Centre Agent

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Customer and sales management
    • Administration and control
    • Order Management
    • Ensure any discrepancies are followed up with rep or customer prior to order capture
    • Ensure minimum order value/quantity is adhered to
    • Ensure all customer/order queries, are appropriately resolved and communicated
    • Ensure all orders are correctly routed and that all special requests for delivery or collection are actioned as per Depot procedure

    Import Logistics Controller

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Booking of shipments

    • Approve booking with shipping agent choosing a cheaper rate and using the most reliable shipping line
    • Must be familiar with customs legal requirements regarding importing as well as an understanding of incoterms 2020 and shipping terms
    • Requesting freight estimate costs and understanding calculations to choose the best suited option to move cargo FCL/ LCL for sea freight or air freight
    • Consolidate shipments if there are other shipments coming from the same port in order to save costs
    • Create a shipment number and open file 
    • Foreign Vendor Payments
    • LC (Letter of credit) establishment with the banks.
    • Foreign vendor payments and understanding of Deposit / Advance / Balance, 30/60 day payment terms 
    • Costing
    • Check accuracy of information on supplier invoice and balance orders to SAP
    • Zimp3 phase 1 costing on SAP system link purchase orders to shipment and allocate a rate and ZINT charges for provision of GIT
    • Prepare Excel costing sheet
    • Zimp3 phase 2 costing on SAP allocating freight, wharfage, vat and duty charges
    • Once costing approved by buyers, send to the warehouse to GRN stock
    • Any short received stock notify relevant people and put parties on notice for insurance claim.
    • Assist warehouse on queries for costings short and overs and inform the buyer 
    • Tracking orders
    • Receive status report daily to monitor shipments and ensuring timely deliveries
    • Query and resolve any issues of delays with freight agents
    • Notify buyer of the status of their goods, and if any stops or unforeseen delays 
    • Pre-clearance of Shipment
    • Follow customs and other statutory body for cargo clearance and compliance procedure.
    • Receive customs clearance documents from agent SAD500, customs worksheet to verify that correct tariff headings and duty/preferential rate have been applied.
    • Complete the clearing instruction timeously to avoid storage charges and delivery delays 
    • Freight Forwarders Invoice
    • Check that all freight forwarders charges are correct as per signed rate agreement.
    • Once all is in order sign and forward to finance for payment approval 
    • Miro and Import Account
    • Miro shipments process the supplier invoice verification
    • Identify and resolve differences on import accounts for clearance 
    • Reporting and Filling
    • Goods in Transit (GIT) monthly reporting of shipments to finance team
    • Order Control report weekly reporting of shipment status to merchandise team
    • Maintain fully compliant shipping files 
    • Returns and Rejected Stock
    • Responsible to facilitate the return or destruction process of rejected stock by QC team
    • Arrange debit note to supplier to recover FOB, freight, wharfage and duty cost
    • Apply for duty refund with forwarder to claim back duty from customs
    • Once the process is completed, customs will provide the certificate
    • QC inform supplier to arrange collection for return stock or let warehouse know to shred the items   

    Store Reconciliations

    • Store banking, petty cash and expense claim reconciliation
    • Ensuring all banking DT's received and filed in time for external audit
    • Process relevant journals on SAP
    • Resolve lay-by refunds from stores and assist to resolve payments from stores or finance

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • At least 3 Years’ experience in Import Control
    • At least 3 years related experience in sea and air freight imports.
    • Experience in forwarding and clearing shipments.
    • Good understanding of customs clearance and compliance procedure.
    • Reconciliation and journal entry experience

    Qualifications:

    • Matric Certificate
    • A relevant Certificate / Diploma in Supply chain and/or Logistics

    Production Software Specialist

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Process design of automation projects.
    • Support commissioning team for automation projects.
    • Support projects team with regards to instrumentation & control.
    • Ensure automation standards are adhered to.

    • Instrumentation Artisan Trade would be advantageous

    Additional Requirements:

    • Excellent PLC knowledge, preferably Siemens and Allan Bradley.
    • Good Scada knowledge, preferably Wonderware
    • Experience of commissioning self-developed projects advantageous.
    • Good IT knowledge.

    Production Team Leader

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Enforce adherence to SHE policies on the floor i.e. proper wearing of PPE, addressing unsafe behavior and conditions, etc.
    • Lead Green Area meetings every Monday morning before start-up
    • Implement and maintain production control systems
    • Achieve shift production plan (SKU availability to meet customer requirements)
    • Develop, train, and motivate team members
    • Monitor and maintain product details, new and existing products
    • Implement and maintain Food Safety, GMP, and SHEQ practices
    • Ensure effective utilization of labour in accordance with the line labour standard
    • Ensure IR procedures are complied with (e.g. absenteeism, poor work performance, etc)

    • Plan to enable efficient deployment of stocks in partnership with the distribution team
    • Monitor and respond to daily variances to drive delivery when demands are above-planned volumes
    • Understand and plan production carefully considering the impact of promotional offers.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • At least 3 years of production Planning experience gained at a supervisory level within an FMCG environment

    Qualifications:

    • A relevant completed tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management (B.Tech; N.Dip)

    Additional Requirements:

    • Good knowledge of SHEQ
    • Solid technical abilities
    • Good knowledge of Industrial Relations
    • Able to work shifts (12 hr shifts - 6 days a week)
    • Must be on call 24/7 when needed, as per operational requirements
