    Warehouse

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
    Stock management

    •   Defining the way how goods are stored to achieve maximum warehouse utilization.
    •   Continuously optimizing the warehouse layout to improve the flow of the goods.
    •   Identifying non-turning pallets and initiate corresponding measures.

    Ensuring accurate inventory

    •   Ensure proper execution of standard warehouse processes (storage, consolidation, shipping and receiving) and exception handling.
    •   Organizing warehouse inventory takings.

    Maintaining the proper state of the warehouse

    •   Manage technical equipment and warehouse infrastructure and suppliers.
    •   Maximize availability of technical equipment and warehouse infrastructure by monitoring maintenance plans.

    Taking appropriate steps should damages happen

    •   Schedules pickup, deliveries and repairs for vendors to ensure a smooth operating warehouse (i.e. waste, fuel, forklift, equipment, etc.).
    •   Ensure a clean state in the warehouse.
    •   Ensure HSE compliance in the warehouse.

    Leading the Team

    •   Supervising warehouse associates and ensuring most efficient teamworks possible.
    •   Assessing training needs of staff and ensuring execution of training.
    •   Organizing of shift staffing.
    •   Organizing of external staff to cover absences and workload peaks.
    •   Ensuring all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.

    Warehouse optimization

    •   Analyzing optimization potentials.
    •   Get quotations from and negotiate with suppliers
    •   Liaise with customers in relations with shipments.
    •   Represent warehouse interests

    Budget and Controlling

    •   Determine investment needs (new or replacement).
    •   Define and initiate measures based on target performance comparison and interpretation of available KPI’s.

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    •   3 years bachelor’s degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent
    •   Min. 5-10 years of experience in Warehousing/Supply Management
    •   Supervisory experience required, preferably in Warehousing
    •   Certified Forklift Driver and/or Trainer
    •   Very good computer skills

    Quality Supervisor (ISBM)

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Ensure production compliance with all internal and customer product and packaging specifications

     Measurement and Testing

    • Ensure that measurements, records and dimensional reports, functional and visual attributes per internally specified requirements are carried out.
    • Maintain optimum performance and internal calibration checks on quality related equipment and schedules calibration of equipment requiring outside calibration
    •  Maintain measurement database integrity

     Customer Relationship Management regarding Quality issue

    • Work with production and customer to determine optimized process settings to assure specified requirements are met (specifically during sampling and product qualification process)
    • Host periodic customer visits
    • Manage customer complaint process

     Quality System

    • Ensure compliance with all ISO 9001 quality management system and when producing food contact product, FSSC 22000 food safety management system.
    • Assist in hazard analysis and HACCP program for food product plant(s).
    • Prepare and successfully completes internal, customer and external audit requirements

      Documentation

    • Maintain customer product specifications
    • Develop and maintain of all internal product and packaging specifications
    • Monthly reporting of quality and food safety system data per documented corporate procedures in eMis and as required regionally
    • Owner of Root Cause Analyses Process by involving relevant departments in developing appropriate corrective action response

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • 4 year degree preferably in chemistry or science area or equivalent experience
    •   Experience with physical lab testing equipment, calipers, scales, digital height gauge and compression force testing equipment and with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
    •   At least 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as a QA Manager, preferably in manufacturing environment and English
    •   Proven track of leading people and passion to develop employees
    •   Highly self-motivated and self-driven
    •   Profound MS Office skills (Excel, Word etc.)
    •   Ability to work well with other departments
    •   Ability to manage Customer Relations
    •   Able to handle multi-task environment with excellent organizational skills

    Plant Engineer

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
    Responsible to define, plan, order and direct utilities installations

    •  Performs cost analysis for facility or utilities equipment
    •  Monitors the production plant infrastructure equipment parameters to ensure operation within accepted, defined specifications including electrical power usage
    •  Briefs and manages all contractors to either newly install, repair or maintain the above-mentioned infrastructure equipment
    •  Coordinates all infrastructure project with clear project objectives and a timetable to ensure that all tasks are completed within time and budget
    •  Assists in design and coordination of plant layout with CAD
    •  Reviews plant layout design for compliance with local law, engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements
    •  Updates our internal ERP system (eMIS) in terms of energy and water consumption, costs, and infrastructure
    •  Participates in designing, updating drawing layouts, managing and or monitoring small to midsize projects regarding the facility and utilities.
    •  Coordinates and develops facility and infrastructure team/Maintenance team and communicates any impact on planning with related departments
    •  Assists maintenance on infrastructure or engineering matters and ensures that any project/engineering activities do not impact the quality of our products that is being produced
    •  Assists local Maintenance, Quality and Production departments on any customer quality concern when needed

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • Min. qualification - Technical Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 Years’ experience in FMCG or related industry.
    •  At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry
    •  Project management experience with proven track record
    •  University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience will be an added advantage

    Machine Setter

    Material Controller - Lanseria

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Control finished goods, raw and packaging material in and out of the
    • Production, physically and systematically.
    • Prepare and complete all relevant documentation accurately and neatly
    • Check finished goods stock issued from production
    • Manage all stock for the production department
    • Operate the forklift
    • Supply machinery with raw material
    • Capture stock movements on stock control system
    • Move stock physically between locations when required.
    • Abide by FIFO regulations at all times
    • Issuing of product / printing of labels
    • Assist with count stock during cycle counts and stock takes and reconcile counts when doing variance investigations

    Warehouse Coordinator

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Ensure that the prepared material (RM, MB, Secondary packaging, that is not automatically fed to the production machines) is transported from the respective Warehouse location where it was prepared to the assigned handover point from where production personnel take it.
    • Manage internal transports Warehouse operations.
    • Ensure stock movement between warehouse and production (whether FG or RM warehouse)
    • Oversee Finished Goods warehouse operation
    • Manage transports: by preparing, loading, administering cargo, ensure load securing and load truck
    • Ensure all the external administrative work with forwarding companies and internal work related to AlplaProd and NAV is done.
    • Ensure that your direct reports are competent (well-trained) and committed through continuous communication, regular oversight and active support of your team
    • Ensure that an established organization and job roles are executed by your direct reports
    • Ensure that your direct reports treat all equipment with care and attention to ensure that equipment and stock is well preserved (this is inclusive of proper housekeeping 5S)
    • Coordinate all type of maintenance activities in the warehouse with the maintenance department
    • Assure product conformity by fulfilling hygiene requirements as far as department is concerned
    • Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
    • Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
    • Ensure that personnel in the department are trained and comply with all HSE measures (safety guards, PPE, etc)

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • Min Matric and related tertiary qualification
    • Min. 3 years of experience in Warehousing/Supply Management
    • Supervisory experience required, preferably in Warehousing, Planning and Logistics
    • Lead and guide his staff including the responsibility of recruiting, on-boarding, training, planning, reviewing etc
    • Very good computer skills
