    Human Resource Administrator - Airport Industria

    Description

    • Candidates will be required to co-ordinate, support and administer general HR functions and render specific administrative support to internal and external entities.  The Candidate should be discreet, approachable, fair and with good communication skills.  The best Candidates will be deadline driven with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Setting up interviews and corresponding with prospective employees.
    • Arrange, capture and maintain training events and records.
    • Arrange and maintain medical bookings and records.
    • Maintain Professional registration records.

    • Maintain internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation.

    Requirements
    Requirements:

    • HR Certificates

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of the various labour law acts
    • Be solutions based; problems are variable, and resolution may require some flexibility within established procedures.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
    • Able to interact in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders
    • Remains pro-active and works productively in a highly pressurized environment
    • Ability to be discreet with sensitive information
    • Administer information accurately and timeously on the various information systems

    Estimator - Western Cape

    Description

    • The purpose of the role is to develop accurate, fully compliant, and competitive tenders, through thorough and advanced estimating practice. Applicants should have appropriate experience, across a range of projects, with a medium to large construction company. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.     Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • Degree/diploma in Civil engineering, construction management or quantity surveying.
    • Minimum 5 years on site experience in the construction industry.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the estimating function in the construction industry.

    Knowledge

    • Strong working knowledge of civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical discipline and the capacity to understand unique project requirements.
    • Knowledge of civil engineering and building construction productivities.
    • Sound knowledge of standard contract documentation and specifications.
    • Ability to review the tender documentation and identify any potential risks and/or gains.
    • Advanced Proficiency of CCS estimating and planning modules.
    • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word & Outlook).

    Estimating Assistant - Kwazulu Natal

    Description

    • Compile tender documentation by coordinating and collecting information to complete the tender submissions.
    • Convert client’s tender info/data into the appropriate software and format to ensure comprehensive records for future utilization on site, planning and reference purposes.

    Jnr Quantity Surveyor - Durban

    Primary Duties Include:

    Measurement and Certification:

    • Assist with the maintenance of an up-to-date measure of the value of work done.
    • Assist the QS to prepare monthly valuations. Cash Management:
    • In conjunction with the QS monitor certificates and collect monthly payments according to due date.
    • Ensure full compliance to all contractual requirements.
    • Assist QS with preparation of any information in respect of the evaluation of Suppliers and material supplies.
    • Prepare documents for bulk orders
    • Prepare Sub-Contractor and Labour Only documentation
    • Collect Information and prepare Labour Only Supplier payment requisitions.
    • Collect and check accuracy of all creditor and supplier invoices. Assistance to site QS:
    • Reconciliation of Costs Vs Allowables
    • P&G Reconciliation Spreadsheet
    • A cost of quality data including non-conformances.
    • Data detailing pending credits
    • Under and overstated costs

    Cost Reallocations Estimation:

    • Collect and collate data for QS to determine material and labour requirements. Prepare a draft itemized list.
    • Assist in the preparation of estimates for selecting vendors or sub-contractors and determine cost effectiveness.

    Requirements

    • BTech or BSC Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
    • Must have two or more years knowledge and experience in Contract Law and insurances, Quantity   Surveying, Basic Financial Reporting, Construction Methods, Programming and Scheduling. Working knowledge of CCS Programming.
    • Must have excellent Oral and written communication skills.
    • Must have excellent Analytical & Planning Ability, Financial & IT Skills.
    • Must be a team player and have good interpersonal skills.

    Mechanic - Durban

    Description

    • Mechanic Duties include fault finding, maintenance, repairs and servicing of all plant and equipment.
    • Must understand hydraulics and electrics to do fault finding, interpret parts and workshop manuals, schematics, etc.
    • Must know and understand risk assessments, JSA’s, HIRA and all other safety requirements
    • Must be medically fit and prepared to travel to sites within SA and cross border as and when required.

    Requirements

    • Qualified Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Min 8-10 years’ experience in servicing, repairs to petrol and diesel engines (vehicles & construction plant).
