    Financial Planning & Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    Execution Powerhouse:

    • Drive action and performance improvements.
    • Take ownership of objectives with confidence.
    • Apply analysis and new techniques rapidly.
    • Manage overheads and investments.
    • Communicate and influence effectively across functions.

    Business Intelligence:

    • Develop robust sales and market performance reporting.
    • Extract and communicate valuable data insights to senior management.
    • Handle data management and automation.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Report to the Global Finance Business Partner.
    • Collaborate with various teams including Operating Centre, Tax & Treasury, and financial leadership.
    • Lead processes for brand and marketing investments.
    • Monitor category investment decisions.
    • Champion forecast accuracy.
    • Support local business growth and adherence to financial policies.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Completed BCom Degree
    • 3 – 5 years commercial experience
    • Must come from the FMCG / Manufacturing / Retail industry

    Duties:

    • Oversee financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

    Financial Controller

    Key Responsibilities:

    Accounting Functions:

    • Conduct bank reconciliations.
    • Manage invoicing and debtor management.
    • Maintain accurate financial records.
    • Handle stock and costing for a range of clients.

    Client Assistance and Business Consulting:

    • Provide accounting support and advice to clients and their accountants.
    • Assist with accounting issues and operational support.
    • Train clients on accounting, HR basics, and project management.

    Office Management:

    • Oversee daily office operations.

    Assistant to the Owner:

    • Provide direct support to the business owner.

    Basic HR Functions:

    • Manage leave records, attendance, and timesheets.

    Requirements:

    • Completed SAIPA articles with at least 2 years post-article experience.
    • Hands-on working experience in a similar role, with a balance of record-keeping and higher-level accounting tasks.
    • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting ERP systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
    • Willingness to travel as part of the role.

    Essential Skill-Set:

    Candidates should be proficient in at least 95% of the following:

    • Financial record keeping and transaction posting.
    • General ledger and trial balance management.
    • Bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
    • Invoicing, billing, and accounts management.
    • Financial reporting, including preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Budget and forecast preparation.
    • Tax preparation and compliance.
    • Expense tracking and reporting.
    • Financial data analysis and insights.
    • Adherence to financial regulations and standards.
