    Site Manager - Port Elizabeth

    Duties

    • Operations Management: Manage a significant operational area for the organization.
    • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop functional or operational policies and help develop policy frameworks for area of responsibility or department.
    • Take responsibility for creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation.
    • Strategic Planning: Develop and/or deliver elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues.
    • External Communications: Manage certain aspects of the external communications system with some guidance from senior colleagues. This could mean being responsible for the development or operation of the system.
    • Internal Communications: Manage certain aspects of the internal communications system with some guidance from senior colleagues. This could mean being responsible for the development or operation of the system.
    • Health, Safety and Environment: Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behaviour within the team and take appropriate action to resolve these, escalating serious issues as appropriate.

    Human Resources Coordinator - Fourways

    Qualifications

    • Matric 
    • NQF Level 5 or 6 qualification in human resources or office administration 
    • National diploma in human resources is advantageous  

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an HR generalist environment 

    Duties

    Recruitment and Selection (20%) 

    • Advertise all roles upon receipt of approved job specification and vacancy requisition 
    • Select internal and external portals based on approved requisition 
    • Respond to all enquiries pertaining to recruitment portal and assist employees to navigate the Application Tracking System 
    • Prepare longlist of candidates for review by Human Resources Business Partner 
    • Update Application Tracking System and progress candidates to next stage and provide feedback via the system to candidates not suitable, based on shortlist received from Human Resources Business Partner 
    • Schedule all interviews based on availability of candidates and hiring teams 
    • Book venues for interviews 
    • Send interview pack to panel after competency-based interview guide is prepared by Human Resources Business Partner 
    • Coordinate scheduling of psychometric assessments through Talent team 
    • Request all relevant documentation from candidate and conduct integrity and reference checks for preferred candidates 
    • Maintain candidate information on shared drive 
    • Supply salary information to Human Resources Business Partner in order to do benchmarking and prepare an offer 
    • Receive signed offer of employment from Human Resources Business Partner and prepare contract of employment 
    • Extend contract of employment to new hire 

    Onboarding (20%) 

    • Submit new hire pack to payroll with all the required documentation 
    • Coordinate new starter requirements with IT, Payroll, Learning and Development, Facilities and hiring team 
    • Submit documentation pertaining to employee benefits to the relevant third-party organisations and payroll 
    • Prepare desk and stationery for new hire 
    • Receive new hire on start date and assist with access, orientation, IT onboarding and equipment 

    Human Resources Administration (10%) 

    • Ensure all staff movement forms are completed based on information or request received and approved by Human Resources Business Partner 
    • Collate all relevant staff requests received from employees and direct to Learning and Development, Talent Management or Payroll where applicable 
    • Ensure all leave is updated and processed in the system before payroll closes 
    • Ensure timesheets, expanse claims are submitted to payroll 
    • Submit staff movement forms to HRIS for relevant updates 
    • Perform quality checks of all staff movement forms submitted and provide feedback to Human Resources Business Partner 

    Share Drive (5%) 

    • Upload all relevant HR documentation to the relevant folders (policies) 
    • Manage member access and update participants to relevant folders 

    Reporting (5%) 

    • Prepare reports in CRS and supply to Management team as requested, i.e. leave report, terminations, new hires, etc. 
    • Perform quality check of all data requested (EE report) prior to submission to relevant stakeholders 
    • Communicate requirements for ad hoc reports to HRIS team and ensure timeous presentation of reports to relevant stakeholders  

    Coordination of Events (10%) 

    • Assist with coordination of vaccination drives and employee wellness events for Group

    • Basic process safety knowledge
    • Basic Firefighting, first aid knowledge

    Drive high performance targets with the team:

    • Maintaining specific unit operations e.g. screen operator, raw material hoist operator
    • Work well in a team
    • Report back on status of his/her area of responsibility
    • Escalate deviations
    • Attend shift and team meetings
    • Autonomous maintenance (Inspections, Cleaning, Lubrication) and 5S
    • Shift handover report for his/her area of responsibility

    Weighbridge Operator - Bracken Fell

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • Experience
    • Previous experience in the same or similar role

    Duties

    • To understand the functioning of the operating system
    • To accurately record and weigh all the inbound and outbound loads on the operating system which includes all raw materials and final products
    • To ensure that any weight deviation is recorded in the road variance report book and that corrective actions are taken immediately
