    Vehicle Stock Controller - Nissan Renault

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Specifications for these positions will be discussed if a candidate is invited for an interview.

    The responsibilities of a Vehicle Stock Controller include the following tasks:

    • Invoice vehicles accurately and timeously in accordance with the offer to purchase authorized by management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely (daily) capture of purchase invoices.
    • Bring vehicle into stock.
    • Invoicing vehicles out.
    • Create purchase orders to suppliers for recon and fitments; ensuring that each payment has an order number.
    • Monthly reporting on outstanding orders.
    • Balance vehicle costing on the in-house system to the department manager’s cost sheet.
    • Ensure required documentation is available in the deal file before invoicing.
    • Report any deviations to the Financial Manager.
    • Stock takes (twice a week) of all vehicles bringing vehicles into stock.
    • Provisions on all vehicles that are in stock.
    • Update stock list with retail prices.
    • Control of the Demo Fleet, updating reports to Matrix, back-office, and weekly stock takes.
    • Responsible for registration and licensing documents for the used vehicle department.
    • Work closely with the Sales Executives and Sales Manager/s.

    Qualifications and Experience    
    Minimum Qualifications and Experience needed:

    • Matric
    • Must have Stock Controller and Invoicing experience
    • Experience with “Automate” dealership management system, advantageous
    • Renault & Nissan Experience advantageous
    • Currently in the Motor Trade

    Skills and Personal Attributes

    Supervisor: Production

    Position Overview    

    • The purpose of the position is to assist the Branch Manager with operation, administration, compliance and the performance management of administrative support staff.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Managing the achievement of ETA date 
    • Maintaining focus on moving vehicles timeously
    • Planning of job through the system – updating dates on TMS
    • Check accuracy on work carried out as per job card
    • Ensuring all new parts are fitted correctly to vehicles
    • Checking of quality in all departments troughout the repair process
    • Ensuring cleanliness within the workshop is maintained at all times
    • Making sure health and safety requirements are adhered to
    • Overseeing the overal production operations
    • Establishing which jobs should be outsourced vs internal repairs

    • Communicate all reworks with Manager
    • Follow up with repairs and maintenance.
    • Ensuring pressure tests are completed and recorded on TMS
    • Qualifications and Experience    

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • At least 3 years’ of relevent experience
    • Computer literate (intermediate)
    • Knowledge of TMS - advantageous 
    • Familiarity with Autobody repair administrative requirements
    • Background in compliance and/or health and safety in an autobody environment - advantageous

    Position Overview    

    • The purpose of the position is to flatten vehicles after the repair process to ensure that a quality paint finish is achieved thereby assisting the branch with the achievement of its financial and service targets.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Flatting Vehicles
    • Ensures that everything is in order for the vehicles to go for final spraying by:
    • Checking all vehicles received from panel beating bay.
    • Checking all body parts for a smooth surface.
    • Spray Primer on small repairs.

    • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old)

    Service Advisor - Nissan Renault

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include the following tasks:

    • Receive customers in a professional and friendly manner in order to ensure they feel valued.
    • Liaise and interact with customers attentively in order to completely understand and comprehend their service needs.
    • Prepare service estimates, sell routine maintenance/ repair services, and conduct follow-ups regarding services and customer inquiries.
