    Treasury Administrator - Woodmead

    Job Description    

    • Attend to role-based queries from group operations and banks
    • Managing CFC Account Balances on a weekly basis and monthly Graphs Analysis
    • Managing ZAR Cash Flow from Business Units Cancelling / Extending Non-Trade FX cover – Monthly
    • Managing Box Filing (File system) and Store room (Metro-file)

    Regional Accountant - Benoni

    Job Description    
    Planning and Control

    • Ensure accurate monthly cost packs are in place for monthly cost meetings.
    • Continuously review controls and processes and assist head office to develop and implement effective controls and processes.
    • Engage regularly with stakeholders (GM/RM, BM< Site Admin, Weighbridge) to build good relationships and understand needs to be resolved.
    • Provide support to sites in: Opening accounts with suppliers, and evaluating customers' eligibility for credit.
    • Set-up and facilitate regular meetings with branch managers to discuss controls i.e. ICM.
    • Evaluate expenditure on a regular basis to identify savings AND check the expenditure against budget guiding the sites not to exceed the budget

    Cost Packs and Budgets

    • Monthly cost packs: Review the revenue for validity, accuracy and completeness.
    • Monthly cost packs: ensure stock is treated as per IAS 2 (E.g. FIFO basis, Valuation at the lower of cost and net realisable value etc.).
    • Budgets: Assist with the region’s budgets preparation.
    • Budgets: Review sites budgets and: Ensure that line items accurate.
    • Ensure budgets are in support of the overall company strategy.
    • Ensure that group guidelines are maintained.
    • Management Accounting

    Review and manage the region’s invoicing, ensuring that:

    • Invoices are processed weekly.
    • All Manual delivery notes are accounted for as per group policy.
    • Credit notes are issued as per the group’s Limits of Authority.
    • Rise and fall calculations use the correct prices.
    • Assist with the region’s overall debtors control.
    • Prepare accurate monthly journals which adhere to controls and processes for processing by Head Office.
    • Prepare monthly recons for stock, cash sales, petty cash and accruals and ensure that reconciling items are followed up and resolved timeously.
    • Review cost packs received from branch managers and ensure that accruals/provisions are accounted for accurately in terms of IAS 37.
    • Engage both Group Management Accountant and Group Financial Accountant monthly to discuss areas of concern.
    • Organise and conduct site audits twice a year as required.
    • Assist with yearly internal and external audits as required.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Cost & Management Accounting or Financial Accounting Diploma/Degree
    • CIMA (studying towards CGMA) advantageous
    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in the field of Cost/Management or Financial Accounting

    Stock Controller - Chloorkop

    Job Description    
    STOCK RECONCILIATIONS:

    • Provide daily assistance to the Depot and Agent personnel on stock queries.
    • Perform monthly sequence checks of all Retail warehouse.
    • Assist with reconciliation of stock variances on an ad hoc basis of warehouses with problems as and when requested by Depots.
    • Process monthly stock charge outs to agents.
    • Process stock adjustments, i.e. customer claims and charge on product, regional fund credits and trial products.

    INVOICE AND DELIVERY NOTE BOOKS:

    • Assign and maintain accurate records and tracking of delivery note books to Depots.
    • Assist with the ordering of new delivery note books for the Depots.

    AECI PLANT HEALTH .NET /SYSPRO:

    • Provide assistance to Depots with month end procedures on .NET.
    • Set up all new warehouses on Syspro and .Net.
    • Creation and maintenance of stock codes on Syspro and .Net.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist Accountants with month end procedures, i.e. balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Maintain SOP’s for Depots.
    • Assist Accounts Payable with PO’s and GRN matching.

    AUDITS (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL)

    • Assist with preparation of internal and external audits.
    • Assist with resolution of internal and external audit queries raised by the auditors.
    • Facilitation of stock audits and compilation of audit reports

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric
    • Minimum education with tertiary qualification of a certificate or diploma in Stock Management /Inventory Control would be advantageous.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Stock Reconciliations Clerk.
    • Previous experience in the agrochemical industry would be advantageous.
    • Well experienced in company standards and programs requirements in order to pass on knowledge and requirements to others.
    • Must have basic knowledge of Syspro.
    • Ensure adherence to the safety standards and procedures.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in product development and registration.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience of laboratory and research management
    • Knowledge of instrumentation used in the laboratory, i.e. HPLC, GC, etc.
