    Human Capital Business Partner - Chloorkop

    Job Description    

    • Translate the Human Capital strategy into tactical plans and initiatives
    • Responsible for the implementation of recruitment, development, engagement, and general HR support of employees in the area of responsibility. Ensure compilation and submission of the annual EE report and the implementation of the 3/5 year plan in collaboration with Group Specialists areas
    • Develop and implement initiatives to ensure maximisation of Skills Development for BBBEE purposes in collaboration with the Group Skills Development Specialist
    • Manage the implementation of initiatives across the Human Capital Value Chain, ie Performance Management, Talent Management, Reward and Recognition, Recruitment and Selection
    • Responsible for Human Capital Administration within the business area of responsibility
    • Be a trusted business partner by advising business of trends in HR practices, the labor market, and general developments that could impact the human resources in the area of responsibility
    • Coach managers to enhance skills and talent development
    • Work in Collaboration with the Group Specialist teams to develop and implement programmes/initiatives that are fit for purpose for the business
    • Bring subject matter expertise by using data for analysis and trend establishment to understand performance and productivity drivers in the relevant employee base
    • Drive and monitor the implementation of business specific and AECI Group culture initiatives
    • Drive and manage the Human Capital budget in a cost effective manner
    • Responsible to manage the People risk through the implementation of all Human Capital policies and procedures, while ensuring alignment across the Group
    • Represent the business in dispute resolution forums and disciplinary processes
    • Ensures speedy resolution/close out of matters of discipline, disputes and reported grievances
    • Custodian of relevant systems to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and audit processes
    • Accountable for Human Capital Reporting for the business area.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Minimum: 5-8 years Human Resources and leadership experience
    • Minimum: Human Resources Degree or relevant qualification
    • Advantageous: Post Graduate qualification, Masters Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology

    SHE Manager (Modderfontein)

    • To lead and direct a team to provide SHE, Technical and Quality Services to Operations with respect to relevant governance and compliance policies including Process Technology, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering and SHE best practices as to entrench and uphold the AECI SHE and Quality system within dedicated areas.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • A relevant Degree or Diploma.
    • Chemical Engineering or Explosives Engineering qualification
    • A Quality and or Safety related qualification would be advantageous
    • Minimum 7 - 10 years' experience in SHEQ management and auditing (preferably in explosives manufacturing).
