    Service Advisor - Rola FCA (Somerset West)

    Minimum Requirements    

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in the automotive industry essential
    • Previous experience as a vehicle service advisor preferred
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Proficient in computer applications and software
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Greet customers and assess their vehicle repair and maintenance needs
    • Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timeframes
    • Schedule service appointments and ensure that repairs are completed on time
    • Communicate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs
    • Educate customers on preventative maintenance and recommend appropriate services

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Oversee the management and maintenance of our vehicle inventory, including new and used vehicles.
    • Perform regular stock checks to ensure accurate records of all vehicles in stock.
    • Vehicle invoicing & general administration
    • Update and maintain electronic and physical records of vehicle details, including make, model, VIN numbers, mileage, and other relevant information.
    • Coordinate with various departments, such as sales, service, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate updates on vehicle status and availability.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of vehicles as needed.
    • Monitor and track vehicle movements, including deliveries.
    • Assist with the preparation of vehicle reports, including sales reports, aging reports, and stock turnover analysis.
