    Cosmetic Consultant - Tshwane Mall

    Essential:

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Retail experience as a sales consultant
    • Computer literate
    • Willing and able to work retail hours

    Advantageous:

    • Cosmetic, fragrance and/or beauty experience

    Job Description:

    • Escalate serious and unresolved customer complaint to the manager
    • Provide a high level of customer care and service
    • Demonstrate products through makeovers, cosmetics demonstration, spray promotions and/or activities
    • Manage stock levels according to Dis-Chem procedures – report on short, damage and expired stock to manager
    • Ensure merchandising and displays are set up attractively
    • Maximise store income by achieving department, brand and vendor sales
    • Keep up to date regarding products, brands and the retail industry
    • Be responsible for all cosmetics, fragrances and beauty house promotions
    • Manage Salon appointments
    • Adhere to Dis-Chem policies and procedures, SOPs and health and safety rules and regulations

    Regional Cash Up Administrator (Gauteng / Limpopo / Free-State)

    Minimum Requirements…

    Essential:

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • 3 – 5 years Retail cash up and auditing experience

    Advantageous:

    • Tertiary Qualification in Auditing or Banking
    • Experience in auditing or retail banking

    Job Specification…

    • Review cash control to ensure adequacy and compliance with established procedures
    • Evaluate internal accounting controls, prepare and submit reports
    • Ensure accurate petty cash reconciliation for the assigned region
    • Ensure accurate change float reconciliation
    • Assist in the development strong internal controls for payment collections at the payment receipt location level and safeguarding against loss
    • Ensure accurate audit and checking of till runs
    • Issue established internal reports subsequent to field visits or other agreed-upon reports on a timely basis
    • Conduct reviews and audit Petty Cash systems and expenditure
    • Review and audit the balance and use of Change float safe
    • Monitor and ensure internal operating procedures are checked for compliance
    • Perform full audit cycle which include risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
    • Identify instances of infrequently occurring transactions or events which arise during the course of the audit
    • Receive, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation and reports
    • Conduct special reviews and investigations were deemed necessary as approved by the Director
    • Implement effective document control including but not limited to float, petty cash, cash on hand and daily spot checks
    • Maintain and ensure accuracy with the record keeping and filing of documents
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
    • Assist in the preparation of a concise and informative audit report to effectively communicate the findings and recommendations to the Director

    Employee Relations Administrator (Contract)

    Minimum Requirements…

    Essential:

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Minimum of 1 – 2 year’s general administration experience

    Job Specification…

    Ensure the following gets done with regards to Policies and Procedures Administration:

    • Send legal posters (BCEA, OHSA, etc.) to the new stores that are opening as well as when requested from stores and keep a clear updated data sheet of all Legal Posters per store
    • Ensure the following gets done with regards to Training Administration
    • Print out training manuals accordingly
    • Assist with coordinating attendees for all Employee Relations Training
    • Assist in issuing of all Certificates for all Employee Relations Training

    Ensure the following gets done with regards to Disciplinary Action Administration:

    • Capture all disciplinary documents on relevant data sheet
    • Report all disciplinary documents that is incorrectly issued
    • Take minutes at disciplinary hearings and ensure to correctly type it up

    Ensure the following gets done with regards to CCMA Administration:

    • Request and receive all applicable referral documentation from the CCMA offices nationally
    • Request and receive all procedural documents from applicable stores and departmental managers in a timely manner
    • Prepare CCMA files
    • Keep the CCMA notice board updated
    • Ensure that all filing is kept up to date on a weekly basis
    • Capture all Injury on Duty information on the relevant system
    • Liaise with, provide feedback and work closely with the ER Team Leader and the Group ER Manager
    • Build and maintain functional relationships with all Dis-Chem stakeholders
    • Attend meetings at Head Office when required
    • Attend to any ad-hoc projects as requested by the Group ER Manager
    • Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
    • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations
