    Control Engineering Technician

    Job Purpose

    The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an employment opportunity for a qualified and competent individual to perform and manage technical services and support in engineering

    research, design, manufacturing, operations and maintenance. These posts are based in Cape Town, CBD.

    Minimum Requirements

    • An appropriate recognised National Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
    •  A minimum of 6 years post qualification technical (Engineering) experience
    • Compulsory registration as an Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) Or has submitted with ECSA for Professional registration as a Professional Technician.     • Bachelor of Technology in Engineering (B Tech) or relevant qualification
    • A minimum of 3 years post qualification Engineering Technologist experience required

    Assistant Director: Security Advisory Services

    Job Purpose

    The Department of Community Safety, Western Cape Government has opportunities for two (2) suitably qualified and competent individuals to assist with the implementation of safety and security tactical interventions to build departmental resilience in providing safety and security solutions and compilation of safety and risk assessments.     Minimum Requirements
