    Monitoring And Evaluation Coordinator X2 (On-Site)

    Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Directly supervise district-level M&E staff.
    • Offer managerial support to data monitors at facility levels.
    • Ensure project objectives align with THINK's strategic intent and funder requirements.
    • Compile detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual technical reports.
    • Oversee and implement robust monitoring systems for data collection, verification, and analysis.
    • Provide expertise in data analytics across health information systems, including DHIS, TIER.Net, and EDRWeb.
    • Design and implement real-time data dashboards for both facility and district levels.
    • Collaborate with DOH to develop strategies aimed at enhancing data quality.
    • Manage and implement data quality improvement plans (dQIPs) for district data teams.
    • Conduct M&E training sessions and mentorship for identified staff members.
    • Embark on advanced M&E programs for personal and team capacity enhancement.

    Radiographer X2 (Onsite) - Makhado

    Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of the Digital X-Ray unit.
    • Conduct X-rays, ensuring top-quality results, and manage uploads to AI systems (qBox) and the Orca cloud.
    • Maintain and regularly inspect X-ray equipment, guaranteeing regulatory compliance.
    • Drive the quality assurance protocols as dictated by the equipment provider, including maintaining comprehensive records of all QA tasks.
    • Counsel patients about procedures and obtain their consent.
    • Communicate screening results to patients and arrange clinical assessments if required.
    • Ensure patients with unusual dCXR results are forwarded for deeper evaluation.
    • Abide by SAHPRA's stipulated regulations.
    • Adhere to radiation safety standards, practicing the ALARA principle to protect patients.
    • Monitor and maintain records of employee radiation exposure, and manage radiation medicals and monitoring badges.

    Outreach Officer X4 (Onsite) - Makhado

    Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
     

    • Work with the community-based team to ensure efficient delivery of TB services.
    • Liaise with the Programme linkage officer to trace and start treatment for newly diagnosed TB patients.
    • Ensure proper referral of TB contacts and diagnosed individuals for treatment and additional services, if needed.
    • Support in identifying and testing TB contacts and initiate those eligible for TPT.

    Professional Nurse X 6 (Roving) - Makhado

    • Collaborate with our team of Professional Nurse Mentors to bridge gaps in TB services at facilities.

    NIMDR Nurse X 2 (Roving) - Makhado

    Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Oversee, mentor, and support program and DOD staff within the district.
    • Formulate long-term strategies for DR-TB mentoring needs within assigned facilities.
    • Collaborate with health teams to establish clinical standards and procedures.
    • Analyse current practices at DR-TB treating facilities, pinpointing implementation gaps and devising Quality Improvement Plans.

    District TB Technical Manager X2 (Onsite)

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to : 

    • District technical leadership and managerial oversight in the technical implementation of project strategy, in alignment with the Project’s key objectives and expected outcomes.
    • Provide technical support to District programmes, focusing on quality of TB services.
    • Interpret and use strategic information to strengthen the TB Programme.
    • Identify District level gaps in the TB Programme and respond by providing technical assistance to address these gaps.
    • Ensure that District TB Programmes are implemented in accordance with the latest DOH guidelines, and guided through WHO and international best practices.
    • Lead on technical aspects of the Programme, including TB Mortality Audits; Cohort Reviews and Clinical Audits in the District.
    • Provide technical support to improve TB and drug-resistance TB case detection through the FAST approach and other strategies, including digital CXR, TUTT, LF-LAM implementation in the District.
    • Provide technical support to ensure effective linkage to care, TB Contact Management and TPT implementation in the District.
    • Support the decentralisation of drug-resistant TB treatment to Decentralised sites, ensuring all clinicians treating DR-TB patients are adequately trained and mentored on DR-TB management.
    • Provide expert TB medical advice to program training and staff development as well as program oversight.
    • Train and support members of DOH facilities in TB management and programme principles.
    • Engage regularly with the DOH District Health Management teams and DOH District TB Coordinators.
    • Provide regular feedback to DOH TB Management Teams on programme implementation and identified gaps in the TB service.
    • Foster relationships with district and provincial DOH, including clinical staff and medical practitioners.
    • Support District Level TB meetings and provide input, as required.
    • Collaborate with other TB/ HIV implementing partners, and provide technical guidance, as required.
    • Provide regular reports to TB Technical Lead on the progress of programmes and services.

    Requirements:

    • MBCHB, registration with the HPCSA.
    • Hands-on experience in TB case management and direct program implementation.
    • Certification or training in TB management from a recognised institution.
    • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in TB control or a related public health program at a district or higher level.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the national and international TB guidelines and protocols.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing clinical teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including community health workers, NGOs, and government entities.
    • Experience in the monitoring and evaluation of TB programs, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Proficiency in creating technical reports, training materials, and other program-related documents.

    District TB Technical Manager X2 (Onsite) - Bloemfontein

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to : 

    • District technical leadership and managerial oversight in the technical implementation of project strategy, in alignment with the Project’s key objectives and expected outcomes.
    • Provide technical support to District programmes, focusing on quality of TB services.
    • Interpret and use strategic information to strengthen the TB Programme.
    • Identify District level gaps in the TB Programme and respond by providing technical assistance to address these gaps.
    • Ensure that District TB Programmes are implemented in accordance with the latest DOH guidelines, and guided through WHO and international best practices.
    • Lead on technical aspects of the Programme, including TB Mortality Audits; Cohort Reviews and Clinical Audits in the District.
    • Provide technical support to improve TB and drug-resistance TB case detection through the FAST approach and other strategies, including digital CXR, TUTT, LF-LAM implementation in the District.
    • Provide technical support to ensure effective linkage to care, TB Contact Management and TPT implementation in the District.
    • Support the decentralisation of drug-resistant TB treatment to Decentralised sites, ensuring all clinicians treating DR-TB patients are adequately trained and mentored on DR-TB management.
    • Provide expert TB medical advice to program training and staff development as well as program oversight.
    • Train and support members of DOH facilities in TB management and programme principles.
    • Engage regularly with the DOH District Health Management teams and DOH District TB Coordinators.
    • Provide regular feedback to DOH TB Management Teams on programme implementation and identified gaps in the TB service.
    • Foster relationships with district and provincial DOH, including clinical staff and medical practitioners.
    • Support District Level TB meetings and provide input, as required.
    • Collaborate with other TB/ HIV implementing partners, and provide technical guidance, as required.
    • Provide regular reports to TB Technical Lead on the progress of programmes and services.
    • Engage with the Private Sector, as required.

    Requirements:

    • MBCHB, registration with the HPCSA.

    • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in TB control or a related public health program at a district or higher level.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the national and international TB guidelines and protocols.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing clinical teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including community health workers, NGOs, and government entities.
    • Experience in the monitoring and evaluation of TB programs, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Proficiency in creating technical reports, training materials, and other program-related documents. 
    • Proficient in using MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
