    Buyer: Kids

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

    • This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kids Team as Accessories buyer.  Your role will be to source and compile a range of commodities and ensure that the commodities are acceptable to the Pep consumer market. The commodities selected must contribute to the profit margin and price points of Pep, in accordance with the departmental directive.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Supplier management (sourcing and loading) 
    •  Range building (Product sourcing & range development) 
    •  Product determination 
    •  Product order management (Administration) 
    •  Budget management and OTB control 
    •  Research about target market and competitiveness

    Requirements
    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Relevant Degree (e.g. Consumer Science) or Diploma (e.g.  Fashion / Clothing / Purchasing Management)
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office & Google Suite)
    • Creative, eye for detail and analytical business approach 
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a established  buyer 
    • Willingness to travel

    Buying Manager - Essentials

    Purpose of the job

    • To manage a range of related purchasing departments in a division, ensuring optimised profitability by providing a range of commodities that is the most wanted to the Pep consumer market and through the application of appropriate margins and price points

    Key Responsibilities

    Requirements
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Must have managed own budget
    • Technical Understanding (including garment construction)of Intimate wear
    • Fabric knowledge
    • Coordination of underwear and sleepwear
    • Understanding of the South African market (Shape, colour and end use)

    Section Leader: Debtors and Fixed Assets

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Financial reporting of  debtors, fixed assets and depreciation balances. 
    • Forecasting and budgeting of capital expenditure, debtors and fixed assets balances, and related depreciation. 
    • Leading the Debtors Services team and Fixed Assets team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Financial reporting of capital expenditure, fixed assets and depreciation balances and management of the Fixed Assets Team
    • Financial reporting of debtors balances and management of Debtors Services team
    • Quarterly financial forecasting, annual financial budgets and 3 year plan projections for debtors and fixed assets
    • Financial year-end responsibilities for debtors and fixed assets
    • Leadership of debtors and fixed assets teams
    • Support financial processes and systems related to debtors and fixed assets
    • Authorising EFTs
    • Ad hoc projects / tasks

    Requirements
    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    •    BCOM Degree (Major in Accounting or equivalent)
    •    Financial and Management Reporting, 3 to 5 years related experience, preferable in retail environment and/or commercial environment 
    •    Self starter, excellent planning, organising, control and good interpersonal skills
    •    Knowledge of SAP, financial reporting and Finance (accounting)
    •    Google sheets, MS Excel (advanced)

    Communication Administrator

    Purpose of the job 

    • To provide a support function to the Communication Manager in aligning all internal communication with the business strategy of the company and the Sikhula KunYe culture.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Administration for Internal Communications office
    • Assist with Event Planning - Info Sessions, Central Office Convention, department events

    Store Manager - PEP - Willowmore

    Description

    • PURPOSE OF POSITION: Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
    • Ensure administrative duties within the store are done according to the company guidelines.
    • Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos - taking responsibility for team training, coaching and performance.
    • Standards - maintain general health, safety and housekeeping standards

    Requirements
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 
    • Proficient in English. 
    • Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage.
    • Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role.
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).
