    Workshop Clerk

    Purpose of the Job

    • Provide efficient control of Vendor documentation submitted to expedite payment of Vendors and provide operating and capital expense, data capture and general administrative support to accounts department

    What you've done
    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 4 (Matric)

    What you'll be doing

    • Provide necessary support within distribution processes by ensuring that the process is performed in line with prescribe operations/standing instructions and compile with OHS ACT safety guidelines, is audit compliance and ensure the handing and register in purchase orders on SAP.
    • Ensure delivery is in accordance with business requirement and deadlines by ensuring strict adherence to relevant SLA’s organizing and scheduling meetings as required, ensuring bulleting boards are updated & maintained, deliveries are completed as required and all work orders to completed.
    • Manage register and relevant documentation by ensuring receipt of register product and materials receipts, ensure proper financial processes, register all vehicles are required and ensure documentation and correspondence are filed to standard.
    • Maintain and keep up to date of all asset registers, raise and close all asset defects as required, documenting of all continuous improvement initiatives and promote awareness of all procedural requirements to Terminal visitors and staff.
    • Provide support to the relevant stakeholders through preparing and ensure that all documentation is received and brought to finalization, effect communication and maintenance of sound business relationships with other internal Stakeholders.

    Info Specialist - Archivist

    Who You Are:

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    •     NQF Level 7 (Diploma in Library/ Information Studies/ Information Science)
    •     4 years’ experience in the library and information center
    •     Experience working in special library

    Advantageous:

    •     3 years’ experience in archives & records management
    •     RFIDs, SAP, Libwin, SharePoint, and Electronic Document Management System experience

    Professional Registrations/ Associations

    •     Library & Information Association of South Africa (LIASA)
    •     South African Society of Archivists (SASA)

    What you’ll be doing
    Repository Management & Compliance

    •     Plan and implement continuous needs analysis of new and existing clients through profiling with the aim to provide accurate and relevant information aligned to objectives
    •     Develop and implement procedures for archive management including the acquisition, processing, digitization, and preservation of archival materials.
    •     Appraise potential collection additions and makes recommendations for acquisition of new collections and de-accessioning of existing collections as per archive management requirement
    •     Plan, implement, and lead major projects for information center
    •     Manage, plan, organize and maintain archived statutory information, records & documents through archival policies, standards and procedures in ensuring compliance to OHSACT regulations and Record Management principles
    •     Administer, maintain and control archival information circulation using relevant library systems including RFID and databases designed to organise and store electronic documents in an organized manner ensuring access by all stakeholders
    •     Maintain, classify and catalogue archived information and documents using the relevant metadata in ensuring consistency, effective retrieval and uniformity 

    Archive Administration

    •     Manage the data cleansing in repository to eliminate errors and duplications that may hinder retrieval of electronic resources preserved on the repository
    •     Manage the e-Archive by conducting digitization of information collection to ensure access to electronic resources anytime and anywhere 
    •     Coordinate and control transmittal of documents to offsite storage through interaction and interface with various refinery stakeholders in ensuring proper storage management and retrieval
    •     Maintain the housekeeping of the resource center collection and carry out acquisition of information center’s stationery and other additional resources
    •     Plan and execute stocktaking and manage archival collection on loans and returns

    Capability Support

    •     Provide training on the use of archive facility, library systems and databases
    •     Advocate and provide awareness to stakeholders regarding information center services and information resources 
    •     Conduct research on the current trends and developments of Archives and Records Management and establish new innovations and developments of information center facilities, infrastructure, technologies and workflow designs to meet clients expectations

    Stakeholder & Customer Management

    •     Manage stakeholders and deliver on their requirements and challenges, including leading and developing stakeholder engagement plans to enhance stakeholder experiences
    •     Engage with relevant teams in maintaining, reviewing and updating records management statuses as per the Record Management Matrix requirements
    •     Collaborate, maintain and sustain new and existing clients across Engen business, including IT team and external library automated system suppliers for expected deliverables

    Inspector

    Who You Are:

    • You have previous experience as an Inspector  related to the petrochemical industry, pulp or paper and mining.
    • You can perform thorough inspection as per the appropriate API standard
    • You are fit to work at heights and confined space entry.
    • Have good interpersonal skills and can interact with your supervisor and the customer to develop new relationships, increase revenue and profit
    • You can work under pressure and as per the clients request.
    • You can write reports including recommendations with photos on time and efficiently
    • You can advise the client on the best way forward to ensure that they timelines are met.
    • You are reliable and will ensure good performance to maintain our reputation.
    • You are team player and will contribute to maintaining accreditations, developing cost estimates and department goals for the EBES  inspection team.

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

     

    • Grade 12 or equivalent, Mathematic (SG+) and Science (SG+)
    • South African Qualification & Certification Committee (SAQCC)- Competent Person Pressure Vessel (CPPV)  certified
    • One or more certification’s in American Petroleum Institute (API) 570 for Piping ,API 653  for Tank Inspection, API  510 for Pressure Vessel Inspection
    • Computer Literate in MS Office Suite and the Windows system
    • 5-10 years’ industry experience with the last 5 years being in a Petrochemical industry.

    Advantageous

     

    • National Association of Corrosion Engineers International (NACE) Level 1 and 2 for coating Inspection
    • Previous involvement in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), turnaround inspection and fabrication workshop inspection
    • Previous experience in AIA accreditation process.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Render Inspection and Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) duties as per inspection plan and schedule for new and existing customers including project work, new equipment fabrication and repairs.
    • Notify the customer in writing of any deviations detected during inspection and provide recommendations.
    • Act in an objective manner, be thorough and factual in any written report, statement or testimony of the work performed and include all relevant or pertinent information in such documents.
    • Engage the Quality & Technical Manager of any deviations that may comprise the implementation of the EIA quality management system.
    • Execute inspection activities within the prescribed local laws, company procedures and best practices .
    • Conduct scoping and develop  customer quotations
    • Any other related tasks that may be required from time to time
