    Outreach Team Leader: Professional Nurse

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design weekly work plans for the CHW and for him or herself (home visits, household assessments,
    • community outreach events, etc.)
    • Manage the Community Healthcare Workers per node.
    • Work closely with the DoH facility management and the community leaders to facilitate the Community-Oriented Primary Care approach – meaning the OTL is required to attend the local community meetings.
    • Attend and actively participate the multi-disciplinary meetings organised by the DoH facility management.
    • Actively participate in the wellness and prevention interventions, e.g., administering of vaccines, screening for non-communicable diseases, family planning, etc.
    • Plan and implement mentorship and coaching sessions for the CHW on the Integrated Health and Wellness Service package.
    • Routinely record/update patient files and stats.
    • Attend training sessions arranged by the DoH and/or Anova.
    • Routinely travel to dedicated Anova, wellness outreach venues and/or DOH facilities in the Cape Metropole District, when required.
    • Routine checking and correcting of CHWs registers/reports.
    • Accurate reporting (verbal and written) of stats and narrative reports.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Ensure that patient files are filled and stored correctly and safely – POPIA compliant.
    • CHW timesheet and leave management and timeous submissions to Anova’s HR department.
    • Manage the office expenses, advance claims, and mileage claims with timeous submissions to the Anova’s finance department.
    • Prioritise, organise and manage own workload in a manner that maintains and promotes quality.
    •  Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

     Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Nursing qualification (Professional Nurse)
    • SANC registration
    • Valid driver’s license essential
    • Own transport and vehicle
    • Experience working within the community will be advantageous

    IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Ensure that the technologies being used are functional, up-to-date, and cost-effective.
    • Maintain end-user knowledge of current and emerging technological trends, issues, and solutions.
    • Responsible for the effective operation of information technology (IT) services and support across the organization.
    • The Information Technology Specialist serves as a technical expert for developing, implementing, managing, and supporting systems and networks.
    • Responsible for evaluating new and enhanced approaches to deliver IT services; testing and optimising the functionality of systems, networks, and data; and defining technical requirements.
    • The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for providing various forms of computer-related technical assistance and improving the efficiency of the staff's work through the use of technology.
    • Provide internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, etc.)
    • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
    • Provide recommendations and solutions to management to improve business and IT processes.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot operating system hardware and software.
    • Install, remove, relocate, test, and troubleshoot problems with servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
    • Apply software patches to operating systems and applications.
    • Implement computer network security defences.
    • Assess a computer system's security vulnerabilities using appropriate resources.
    • Use standard software tools to detect attempted security breaches of computer systems.
    • Ensure data backup and restore procedures align with the Anova’s SOP’s.
    • Work with IT staff to maintain and adhere to business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
    • Participate as a team member to respond to cyberattacks and network breaches.

    Role Requirements
    Qualifications & Expertise

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in IT,
    • N+; Network Security +,
    • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience within the IT Network & Security environment
    • Extensive knowledge of network connectivity, technologies, protocols, and security.
    • Knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and methods; systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools; IT security principles and methods; COTS products; Internet technologies; and/or emerging information technologies
    • Knowledge of Firewalls, management Security technologies (e.g., SIEM, PAM), or Vulnerability scanning solutions (Added Advantage)
    • CCNA; Sophos Certification or similar network certification would be an added advantage
    • CISSP or CISM (Added Advantage)

    Grants Manager

    Key duties and responsibilities:
    Grants Management

    • Act as the liaison between Project Managers, Funders and other internal support departments.
    • Ensure all donor reports are submitted as required.
    • Manage pre award assessment of subrecipients
    • Assist with amendments and incremental funding arrangements of subrecipients
    • Consolidate and manage sub recipients spending and reporting
    • Facilitate other adhoc requests from funders.

    Compliance

    • Provide guidance to subrecipeints on funding agency regulations and requirements
    • Monitors and coordinates the administration of grants to ensure that budgeting and administrative policies and procedures are being followed.
    • Work in conjunction with the Compliance Department to ensure that all internal reviews address critical areas.
    • Implement changes within the projects to address non- compliance issues.
    • Keep abreast of changes/updates within funding agencies and ensure that new policies and procedures are disseminated to the relevant departments.
    • As and when required, attend training sessions on new developments that are specific to the programme/projects.

    Programme Management Support

    • Assist the project managers in developing annual budgets and work plans.
    • Review monthly project expense reports vs budget with the project managers and implement effective strategies to maximise “burn rates” and project deliverables.
    • Assist project staff in the preparation of other periodic reports in terms of funder requirements.
    • Assist Project Managers with new proposals and budgets.

    Capacity Development

    • Ensure that projects are adequately staffed and assist in identifying training requirements & needs.
    • Assist in providing internal capacity development of project managers in terms of funder requirements, budgeting and financial management.

    Any other relevant tasks as agreed with line manager.
    Minimum qualifications, experience and skills required:

    • Minimum: BCom / BCompt Degree / Financial Management or relevant Tertiary qualification
    • 4 -8 years’ experience in a management role preferably in Grants & Contracts
    • Knowledge of donor grants and the Non Profit sector, desirable
    • Sound knowledge of financial accounting policies and procedures
    • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment
    • Project Management experience
    • ERP systems experience
