    B2B Automotive Lubricants Sales Executive

    Job Description

    New Business Development:

    • Actively participate in developing sales and marketing strategies
    • Develop and grow new business opportunities in the sector
    • Capture pipeline generation into Salsa such as leads, opportunities, and proactive OEM sales activities.
    • Responsible for growing the pipeline of business opportunities within the sector by discovering and exploring selling opportunities and identifying and contacting potential customers.
    • Assist with Tender Procedures and Requirements.

    Sales

    • Manage and control the investment spend at customer sites.
    • Ensure that all Customer information is up to date and correct on all the relevant system i.e.: SAP and SALSA.
    • Liaise with Depots on stock holdings and customer requirements.
    • Assist with Promotions
    • Participate in developing sales and marketing strategies within the OEM, GT and Transport segments
    • Collect and report market intelligence, competitor activities.
    • Proactively market ANAC services to major GT customers
    • Provide support with technical advice to customers.
    • Investigate and propose opportunities for investment

    General

    • Nurture, maintain and manage good customer and stakeholder relations.
    • Effectively manage pricing, rebates and discount levels and ensure all costing associated with customers is accounted for.
    • Manage customer credit (resolve errors, perform reconciliations where required) and ensure customer service delivery.
    • Contract management and administration.
    • Provide Sales Manager on a weekly basis with activity Reports.
    • Complete asset surveys as and when requested by TMSA.
    • Negotiate new agreements with customers (existing and new customers)
    • Manage the level of gross margin after variable expense (GMVE) per customer.
    • Conduct variance analysis / business reviews per customer, compare to budget and take corrective action where appropriate.
    • Achieve budgeted sales and margins with the use of SALSA.
    • Collect and report market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing strategies etc.

    • Comply with Light Vehicle Driving Policy
    • Governance for OEM and GT  and Transport Segments:
    • Ensure effective risk management, internal controls and asset management.

    Candidate profile

    • Appropriate 3-year degree or diploma in Marketing and Sales or
    • 5 Years’ experience in the Oil industry and Sales Department
    • Good sales management, negotiations and conflict resolution skills
    • OEM / Motor Industry Lubricants experience
    • Good knowledge and application of TMSA’s Code of Conduct / Ethics and Policies and Procedures would be advantageous
    • Good knowledge and understanding of business and legal basics
    • Good knowledge of SAP and SALSA System
    • Good knowledge of TMSA’S Lubricant Products
    • Good knowledge and application of interpersonal skills

    Financial Statement Specialist

    Job Description

    • As a Financial Statement Specialist, you will be responsible for the following activities: 

    Accounting and reporting

    • To perform month-end closing procedures and ensure SOX compliance.
    • To review balance sheet reconciliation submitted by shared service.
    • To prepare accurate, timeous and consistent monthly financial reporting to local stakeholders and management.
    • To create & update general accounting policies & procedures.
    • To prepare accurate, timeous and consistent quarterly financial reporting on CAP.
    • To ensure and maintain compliance with accounting reporting requirements according to local and international accounting standards and IFRS.
    • To ensure consistency between all monthly and quarterly reporting - CAP, Res, Board, and Annual Financial Statements.
    • To prepare accurate monthly KPI’s and ratios.
    • To prepare annual financial statements in CaseWare.
    • To compile board pack & dividend proposal presentations
    • Attend to ad hoc requests from management.

    Business developments

    • To participate in current and future information technology projects that have impact on the financial statements of the group plus business projects.
    • To help optimize the use of available technology to improve the flow of available information to internal and external stakeholders.
    • To help identify non-value adding processes and drive the implementation of more improved accounting processes.

    HSEQ

    • To ensure constant adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standards, local by-laws, standards and legislation so as to minimize all risk pertaining to company assets and protection of life.

    Context and environment

    Internal Contacts: Operations, finance, Paris group consolidation department and internal audit.

    • Cross functionality required through interaction with other divisions
    • Ensuring that financial information is valid, useful, accurate and timeous
    • Recommendations to management about internal controls and operational issues. Problem solving.
    • Evaluation of information from other departments
    • Ensure IFRS compliance during month end.

    External Contacts:  External auditors and stakeholders.

    Candidate profile

    Ideally as a Financial Statement Specialist, you will possess: 

    Key competencies required:

    • Audit articles experience at a large company
    • Analytical skills,
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Critically analyze data.

    High level of integrity and commitment.

    • Technical knowledge or skills required:
    • Good knowledge of International Financial reporting Standards (IFRS)
    • SAP and MS Office an advantage
    • CaseWare
