    Fleet Coordinator - PepsiCo Park CDC Snacks

    Responsibilities

    What we’re looking for

    • We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located in Germiston, Gauteng.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • To oversee all aspects of MHE’s, Commercial and Passenger vehicle management, including Uptime, safety, training and maintenance budget to ensure operational up time by implementing full maintenance program and preventative maintenance.
    • Work in teams /Perform administrative duties/ Ensure R&M and Tyres quotations are received & processed within 24 hours
    • Provide Fleet Management with weekly Fleet Expenditure reports to track maintenance budgets
    • Conduct Monthly DC Visit/provide feedback on previous issues/draw up action plans on current issues /Weekly DC KPI’s Meeting
    • Ensuring Fleet vehicles Roadworthy tests/MHE Load Test are done timeous and COF certificates are submitted to Fleet Admin 30 days before license/Load Test expiry
    • Manage short term rental requests ensuring rental reasons are justified to reduce costs and ensure business continuity.
    • Ensure Telematics/Drive Cam/Fuel Master units in the region are downloading and fully operational.
    • Ensure that all DC’s comply with accident policy with regards to vehicles that was involved in accidents.
    • Ensure timeous preventative maintenance/servicing of commercial/passenger vehicles/MHE’s for the relevant DCs by planning/bookings and ensuring DCs & suppliers adhere to appointments.
    • Track Driver Score Card Matrix and raise non-conformance with relevant DCM on corrective action in the form of Driver Trainings
    • Daily Monitoring of Pre & Post Trip Inspection/Fuel usage/kilometer usage/corrective action

    Accountabilities:

    Business Development

    • Acquire new business and grow existing customer base
    • Identify business opportunities and implement agreed plans

    Sales Performance

    • Review progress versus objectives at weekly meetings and take corrective action as appropriate.

    Forklift Driver - Kakamas Dried Fruit Plant-ZAF

    Responsibilities

    • Daily inspections of forklift as well as reporting non conformance
    • Safe operating of forklift .
    • Offloading of Trucks during intake season
    • Supply raw material to Production Lines
    • Off loading of trucks transporting products to and from depots
    • Correct stacking of product
    • Ensuring bins coming over rail from production are put in stacks
    • Ensuring safe and correct stacking of empty bins
    • Making sure bins going into stacks are clean
    • Removing of damaged bins out of stacks
    • Loading empty bins sent to intake depots
    • Weekly Cleaning of forklift
    • Drives forklifts to transport products and equipment.
    • The Forklift Driver provide raw material to Pre Clean Production.
    • Offloading of truck with product from outside depots.
    • Offloading of product from suppliers during intake season.
    • Stacking of empty bins
    • Clearing of empty bins on rail coming from Pre Clean production   

    Additional tasks:

    • Planning: The Forklift Driver draws up his/her own plan based on information provided by Production Supervisors of both departments.
    • The machine’s downtime are measured by Overall Efficiency Effectiveness (OEE) system. The Forklift Driver can influence the OEE of the machines, when he fails to supply raw material on time. The Forklift Driver plan and prioritise the machine supplies as per the production plan.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum qualification is a grade 12
    • A Valid Forklift licence
    • Must pass a medical assessment.
    • Two year experience as a Forklift Driver
