    BI Manager

    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Data Management

    • Create, support, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to address evolving data requirements.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer master data.

    Data Analysis           

    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain advanced analytics models and techniques for forecasting and predictive analysis.
    • Assist in ad hoc projects to identify market opportunities and threats.
    • Conduct regional analysis to inform strategic planning processes.
    • Develop consistent approaches and methodologies for data analysis, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies

    Reporting and Visualization           

    • Create and manage reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
    • Ensure that reports are accurate, up-to-date, and align with business objectives.
    • Business Strategy Support     Collaborating with department heads and executives to define KPIs
    • Align BI initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals and priorities.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage data for competitive advantage and business growth.

    Tool and Technology Management

    • Evaluate, select, implement, and manage business intelligence tools and technologies.
    • Optimize the use of BI tools to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
    • Training and Development     Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the utilization of BI tools and resources.
    • Address user queries and concerns regarding data and reporting.

    Performance Monitoring

    • Monitor the performance of KPIs and highlight gaps and opportunities.
    • Regularly assess the effectiveness of BI solutions and make adjustments as needed.

    In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business Intelligence/ Data Science Computer Science or a related field.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a focus on business intelligence, and data analysis
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL and other data analysis tools.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales force automation are advantageous
    • Knowledge of the industry and market dynamics is a plus

    Technical Competencies:

    • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
    • Excellent data modelling and data visualization skills.
    • Knowledge of market analysis and consumer behaviour.

    Business Product Owner

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Take the lead of a scrum squad as the Business Product Owner.
    • Provide vision and direction to the product squad and stakeholders throughout the project and facilitate the creation of user stories.
    • Ensure that the squad always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
    • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
    • Assist your lead Business stakeholder with business processes and administration.
    • Define product vision, road map and growth opportunities.

    DevOps Engineer – (Azure)

    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Stakeholder Management

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with the technical support, Ops, Product and Development teams.
    • Manage the service interest of all stake holders and provide insight and tools to support their functions.
    • Collaborate with external parties to ensure efficient and secure integrations.
    • Foster collaboration between development and operations teams, promoting a culture of shared responsibility for the software development lifecycle.

    Service Management           

    • Set up monitoring solutions using Azure and Data Dog to track the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. Configure alerts for proactive issue resolution.
    • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and application availability.
    • Resolving technical PROD, QA, and DEV environment issues.
    • Investigating and addressing application and system availability, performance, and capacity issue.
    • Ensure application reliability and up time.

    Technical Operations          

    • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure. Conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability.
    • Manage software releases, coordinate deployments, and maintain release documentation. Implement blue-green and canary deployment strategies.
    • Implement security best practices, such as access control, encryption, and vulnerability scanning, to protect infrastructure and applications.

    In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

    • BSc or BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
    • 5- 8 years’ proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related role.
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
    • Docker Certified Associate.
    • MS Azure DevOps Certified.
    • ITIL certification at foundation level is preferable.

    Technical Competencies required:

    • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
    • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Ruby).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Applicable knowledge of networking, security, and server administration.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum development environment.
    • Continuous Integration and Deployment.
    • System monitoring tools.
    • System administration of servers and software.
    • Database management.
    • Developing database scripts for data extracts, fixes, and deployments.
    • Azure DevOps or similar automated build tools.
    • Software development in the Microsoft .Net space.
    • Configuration and setup of Azure (DevOps, Cloud).
    • Other Cloud Platform knowledge are preferable.
    • Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

    IT Compliance Manager

    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop and implement IT compliance policies and procedures, as well as updating and ensuring policy and policy documents adhere to current processes.
    • Maintain scheduling and conduct quarterly audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Innovate and automate these and other reviews where possible.
    • Collaborate and facilitate with both internal and external auditors, managing walkthroughs and evidence gathering.
    • Audit remediation scheduling, tracking and signoff.
    • Develop and manage IT risk management programs, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies including maintaining Risk and Control Matrix’s (RACM’s) for all systems.

    In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of managing IT compliance programs and conducting audits.
    • Experience in developing and implementing IT compliance policies and procedures.
    • In-depth understanding of relevant IT regulations and standards, such as the Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act) – POPIA.
    • Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance frameworks.
    • Experience with IT risk management, including conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
    • Ability to identify, assess, and prioritize risks, and implement measures to mitigate them.

    Competencies required:

    • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL.
    • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices and frameworks such as CIS Controls and NIST CSF.
    • Proficiency in using compliance management and audit tools.

    Scrum Master

    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage each project’s scope and timeline and facilitate scoping and estimation by teams.
    • Actively structure and drive product increment (PI) planning for your squads.
    • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups, and other Scrum ceremonies.

    In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

    • Matric
    • Scrum Certified.
    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master.
    • 2-5 years previous experience working in a software organisation using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
    • Proven exposure to software development environments and typical SDLC and processes.
    • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
    • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
    • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability. 
    • Outstanding organizational skills.

    Senior Python Engineer

    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

    • More than 5 years’ experience as a software engineer.
    • Computer Science Degree or Engineering Degree with Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications.
    • Proven experience and knowledge of Python and the Django framework.
    • Frontend, Backend and Database design and development experience.
    • Strong track record in Collaboration and Communication (including written).
    • Full understanding of Agile Software Development and Scrum processes from a SWE POV.
    • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, with experience in Github or Gitlab.
    • Payments, transaction or Fintech experience would be advantageous.
