Workshop Assistant - Thohoyandou at RCL Foods

Job Description    

• RCL FOODS is seeking a Workshop Assistant to join our Foods Division. The role will be based in Thohoyandou and report to the Transport Manager. RCL FOODS is looking for a Workshop Assistant to assist mechanics in maintenance and repair of trucks.

Minimum Requirements    

• Matric
• Mechanical knowledge and experience

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Assist mechanics in maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers
• Upkeep of records as required.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance work on generators and other machinery as requested by the Transport Manager
• Ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Ensure that daily and weekly cleaning of the work area is done.
• Carry out any workshop related activities as requested by the Fleet Manager
• Must be willing & able to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Must adhere to health & safety regulations.
