Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator (JB4658) at Educor Holdings

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator to join our Education Faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the placement of students in Grade R classrooms across South Africa, ensuring they gain valuable practical experience that complements their academic studies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in education, preferably with a focus on early childhood or Foundation Phase education; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in educational coordination, particularly in work-integrated learning or student placements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the South African education system, especially in relation to Grade R teaching.
• Proven experience in building and managing partnerships with schools and educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for student placements in Grade R classrooms nationwide.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with primary schools to secure diverse placement opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage logistics for WIL placements, including timelines, student allocations, and site monitoring.
• Provide orientation, mentoring, and ongoing support to students during their placements.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Work closely with academic staff to integrate WIL into the curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with South African educational regulations and report on student placements and outcomes.
• Engage with stakeholders, including school principals, teachers, and educational authorities, to maintain and expand WIL partnerships.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high standards in practical training.
• Manage administrative tasks related to WIL placements, including documentation and reporting.
