INTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT – VEHICLESTOCK CONTROLLER

Magnis/UD Samrand currently has a vacancy for a Vehicle Stock Controller. The position will suite someone with experience in the Commercial Vehicle Industry.

Specific Role Responsibilities    

• MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
  • To maintain sufficient stock levels of new vehicles so as not to limit or hinder the sales capacity of the dealership.
  • Check in all new stock and to ensure proper stock control.
• KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • ”All point check” to be completed when vehicle is received from UD Trucks
  • Weekly and monthly stock count
  • Stock management (average 30 day stock)
  • Stock management no vehicles older than 45 days
  • Team Co-operation
  • Support Sales Staff with Accesorie fitment to vehicles
  • Support of Sales Staff to get vehicles ready for Handover

Qualifications and Experience    

• EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
  • Grade 12
  • Previous stock controller experience advantageous
  • Industry knowledge advantageous
  • Negotiation skills
  • People skills
  • Ability to understand a customer’s needs
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
