Transport Control Administrator - Bellville at RCL Foods

Job Description    

• Vector Logistics on the hunt for a Transport Control Administrator to join our Transport Team at Peninsula Depot. This role needs to support increased customer service and improve efficiencies within the Transport Team.

Minimum Requirements    

• Matric
• Valid Code EB drivers
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in an administration/transport environment, preferably within a FMCG/ Cold Chain environment
• SAP experience would be an advantage.

Flexibility to work shifts.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Responsible for the capturing off transport related stats on a daily basis and feedback to management.
• Maintaining Daily fleet capture stats on SAP.
• Liaise with Customers on Outstanding POD’s and daily feedback to Admin team.
• Processing of time sheets on Blick for service providers.
• Checking Blick times and ensure correct for processing.
• General assistance within the team
• Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritising, and self-development.
• Capture purchase orders and STD bank repair requisitions.
• Assist with dispatching and debriefing.
• Capture KPI dashboard info daily
• Monthly reports to management for OPS meetings.
• Filing of all relevant documents
• Demonstrate willingness to help others and “go the extra mile” to meet team targets and objectives.
