Trainee Factory Manager - Vitro at Ceramic Industries Group

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Senior Factory manager in operational management and team development of the factory.
• Safety and risk management in terms of legislation
• Recruitment, training, and development of personnel
• Asset preservation through development, implementation, and management of effective systems
• Develop and implement best practice in all areas of the factory.
• Driving continuous improvements and waste elimination to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Product development to ensure sustained fashionable and value for money product ranges.
• Project management of capital projects
• Financial control of factory costs
• Sourcing of new local and international suppliers
• Ensure the factory is focused on agreed key performance indicators.
• Drive the fast paced and high-performance culture.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma/B degree in engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy or Electrical) and/or Millwright Qualification.
• At least 5 years Middle Management working experience in FMCG and/or Manufacturing.
• GCC Factories or currently studying would be an added advantage.
