    Tender Desk Specialist

    In this Tender Desk Specialist position

    • You will timeously update RFQ register with RFQs/Tenders, Deadlines and Submission dates and RFQ requirements.
    • You will ensure tracking of RFQ activities on global, regional and country level.
    • You will analyze RFQ scope, requirements, terms & conditions, liabilities; and seek clarifications if necessary.
    • You will notify RFQ Manager of any deadline extensions required immediately.
    • You will launch and update action tracker when applicable.
    • You will allocate and notify local commercial owner of RFQ for support.
    • You will seek Clarification from Bid owner in a timeously manner.
    • You will manage RFQ/Tender timelines based on RFQ time frame.
    • You will gather relevant rates for each RFQ/Tender from responsible departments.
    • You will efficiently and effectively complete pricing templates.
    • You will keep record of pending information required and follow up for each RFQ.
    • You will cross check pricing templates completed for data quality assurance.
    • You will action RFQ priorities as indicated by RFQ Manager, Global and Commercial (of must wins, significant RFQs).
    • You will formulate submissions in accordance to standardised process and client requirements.
    • You will ensure pricing submission is in the required format and meets requirements set by customers.
    • You will be responsible for submission of RFQs via Global RFQ submission platform when required.
    • You will record and file all relevant information for each RFQ in accordance to standardised process.
    • You will bring any potential risks around RFQs to RFQ managers attention for support immediately.
    • You will manage time and priorities efficiently. And support RFQ for must-win situations.
    • You will with the assistance and guidance of RFQ Manager, work out the pricing strategy with key stakeholders for important RFQs.
    • You will ensure price quoted are correct and align with country sales strategies.
    • You will complete internal pricing templates on behalf of ZA commercial team.
    • You will negotiate with overseas counterparts/coordinate with local departments for competitive rates / services as necessary.
    • You will provide RFQ summary reports as required.
    • You will ensure successful completion of all tenders/RFQ’s.
    • You will meet KPI’s set out by RFQ Manager.
    • You will receive RFQ feedback for continuous improvement of process and procedures from RFQ Manager.

    Now, here’s what we need from you

    • At least 6 years’ experience in the OFR/AFR Pricing environment
    • 8 + years of experience in forwarding business (preferably in Pricing/Sales field).
