Tender Administrator- Optipower - Bedfordview at Murray & Roberts

Introduction

• Optipower a division of Murray & Roberts Power, Industrial & Water is looking for a Tender Administrator. The individual will assist in developing tenders, bids for upcoming work to ensure tenders and contract development activities are in accordance with company procedures and technical work instructions.

Job description
Responsibilities:

• Ensure Bid Submissions Pack is complete and in accordance with the Client’s Tender Enquiry.
• Monitor tender search engines for possible leads (Leads 2 Business).
• Prepare Applications for Bid Bonds and Letters of Intent per proposal requirement.
• Draft Validity Letter and / or responses as per client requests.
• Maintain an orderly and professional record keeping system.
• Ensure Bid Proposals Policy and procedures are practiced and enforced.
• Update and maintain the Tender Procurement Commodity Data Base
• Prepare company Information for Pre-Qualification / Vendor Application Requests and monitor the archive of standard information.
• Submit reports as required.

Qualification:

• Matric

Experience

• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Strong Computer literacy
